Story
Casper was dumped where I took him in back in 2022 of May since then I've fostered him in. He was very shy the first couple of months but with patience he comes out of and starts to talk a lot. He loves to talk and run around the house. He's a sweet cat who tends to be skiddish around new people. He'd be good in a relaxed home with as he does tend to get skiddish with too much noise. He loves other cats my other cat is not a fan of him and it breaks my heart to see that. Ideally having a cuddle cat companion and play buddy would would something he would thrive for. He's been only indoors since I've taken him in.

Story
Minx was a "community cat," being fed with others, but not spayed. When she turned up pregnant, the feeder waited until she was ready to deliver when he contacted us. She was clearly about to give birth, so we set her up in our nursery. Sure enough, the very next day, she delivered seven babies and took on an orphaned kitten! Minx was the best mom, showering her eight babies with so much love and attention. She's very loving with humans, but don't let her near another cat, as she turns into a poked bear! Minx will give you lots of love and laughter as she tosses her play mice in the air and catches them. She LOVES catnip and watching out the window at the birds and lizards. Minx MUST be an indoor only cat. DOB: 6/4/21.

Story
Queso is famous! If you follow Runaway's social media, you'll remember Queso. He came to us after he was found with a traumatic injury to his head, presenting with an open wound that not only penetrated the skin, but also through the bone of the skull! We still are unsure of what caused this injury, but he needed immediate help from us! After a few visits to the vet, and rounds of antibiotics, Queso's wound was surgically closed and he has healed well! He is doing great now and is learning to be more social and trusting of humans. If you go slow, he will allow you to give him a little cheek rub. His favorite thing is when you give him a Churo or similar squeeze-up treat. He gets along well with other cats. Queso needs a special home where he can get continued one on one attention to help him further his progress of getting used to the indoor cat life. Being around 9 years old, we know Queso has been through a lot in his life and we can't blame him for his hesitations! We just hope that he learns that he is now safe and very loved and we hope that a special person comes to see him and falls in love like we did!

Story
Starfruit's fur is so beautiful and so soft. She's shy, though, so it takes a moment for her to let you pet that soft fur. She wants to let you pet her, and is sweet as could be, but she's just a little unsure. She feels safer in a box or covered cat bed - any place she can peek out and watch you from a little distance. If you're willing to go slow and give her time to trust, we know she will come out of her shell and be a loving companion.
