Please complete our online Adoption Application (https://www.saveourstraysinc.com/adopt/adoption-application/). An application is required to move forward with any adoption. NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE! All Save Our Strays Inc cats have been sterilized, given one distemper vaccine, a rabies vaccine, microchip, and have been tested for FeLV if under 6 months of age and for both FeLV/FIV if older. A contract must be completed prior to any adoption after approval of the adopter by one of our adoption volunteers. There is a screening process so merely wanting to adopt doesn't make someone eligible to adopt. Adoptions are approved at the discretion of the screeners. Please note cats come in and out of foster homes so seeing a cat on this site does not guarantee it will be available when you contact us. Also we do not adopt on a first come first serve basis. The present adoption fee is $150.00 (please note this amount may change without notification). Renters will be asked to provide proof that pets are allowed. Placements are made based on the needs of each cat. ##2776752##

Story
I test FeLV positive – regressive, which means my immune system has successfully suppressed the virus. I’m healthy, feeling great, and not showing any signs of illness. Many cats with regressive FeLV live long, normal lives just like any other cat. I don’t require daily medication or special treatment — just regular vet care, good nutrition, and lots of love (which I excel at receiving). I can safely live with other FeLV-positive cats, or I’d be perfectly happy as your one-and-only feline. FeLV can sound scary, but regressive cats like me are thriving proof that a diagnosis doesn’t define a life. I’m not fragile — I’m just a cat who deserves a forever home, a sunny window, and someone to adore. Mr. Whiskers has now also tested positive for FIV and is in stage 3 kidney disease. He must stay on prescription kidney food and receive subQ fluids 2x a week. Which is foster or adopted must be able to learn how to do that. We can teach you!

Story
Meet Kat, a beautiful Siamese mix with stunning looks and an even bigger personality! This friendly girl loves people and is always happy to soak up attention. She enjoys pets, spending time with her humans, and showing off her affectionate side. Kat is also an active, playful cat who loves having fun and would enjoy plenty of toys, games, and interaction to keep her entertained. While Kat absolutely adores people, she has made it very clear that she does not want to share her home with other felines. She can become spicy at even the sight of another cat, so she is looking for a home where she can be the one and only queen of the castle. If you're searching for a beautiful, affectionate companion who will happily be the center of your world, Kat may be the perfect match. Give her a home of her own, and she'll reward you with plenty of love, entertainment, and Siamese charm.
