Siamese kittens & cats in Calhoun, Georgia

Dexter found himself looking for food in a local park. There are a few good Samaritans that care for homeless kittens and cats ~ get them spayed or neutered and try to find them homes. Dexter came to us and was really shy, but he is learning that he has so many new friends and volunteers that love him. He is a sweet boy ~ come meet Dexter and fall in love.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Meet Butter Cup…a 3-4 year old Flame Point Siamese with a left ear tip. She was found in a cat colony that NGAA was assisting with spay/neuter. Butter Cup was trapped and taken in for her spay surgery. When she was picked up, the vet recommended that Butter Cup have Entropion surgery. I wondered why Butter squinted all the time and had runny eyes, now I knew why! Her eyelids had turned under and her eyelashes were rubbing against her eyes—imagine sand in your eyes 24 hours a day everyday…Butter had to have the surgery! NGAA rescued her and as you can see, Butter Cup’s surgery was a success—she has beautiful blue eyes!Butter Cup is an affectionate little girl and who is looking for a family to love.

Taji and Tally are sweet sisters who were rescued at a residence in North Chattanooga where they were born. They are just two years old. Taji is totally adorable with big blue eyes, she is very sweet but a little shy and would do best in a quiet adult home. She is bonded with her sister Tally and must be adopted with her. We got him as a kitten about 2 years ago. He's overall docile and calm. He is a bit anxious/shy and will usually hide when unfamiliar people come to visit. If the visitors are calm, he will come out eventually. He likes to play and cuddle. He is an indoor cat, though he will try to escape sometimes, so keep an eye on him when opening the door. We will include his food dish, water dish, bed, and a couple of toys. We think he will be happier in a home with more attention and/or animal playmates. He is gentle and patient with children, preferring to run away rather than become aggressive if he gets overwhelmed.
