Boo’s future adopter must be patient and understanding. He will likely hide for weeks. This isn’t a failure—it’s part of his healing. When he finally feels safe, what he will want most is Atticus. Atticus is his anchor, his comfort, and his path to long-term happiness.Atticus, on the other hand, may appear to be the “easy” one at first—but he has his own challenges. Atticus is deaf, and because of that, he hasn’t received the redirection or guidance he truly needed earlier in life. He will need some retraining and a human willing to learn how to communicate with him.
