Siamese kittens & cats in Alexandria, Kentucky

Tuna is 100% feral. He has lived indoors since he was a kitten but is basically a ghost…you might see flashes of him on occasion, and he enjoys moving his water bowl around, so you will have small reminders of his existence.   Tuna coexists with people and other pets with no problem as long as no humans reach for him. He does like having animal companions and is also curious about children. Adults scare the daylights out of him. We suspect an adult may not have been kind to him when he was a very young kitten.   He is litter box trained, although he has a habit of kicking litter out of his box and then pooping in the pile he has made just outside the box. We simply keep a large plastic tray under his litter box for easy cleanup.   Thus far, Tuna has been uncooperative for vet care and will bite staff. He is up to date on vaccines and healthy at this time, but your vet should be aware that he must be sedated in his carrier like a feral cat prior to handling. March 25, 2025, 9:16 pm

When she was spayed, they clipped one of her ear tips as normally feral cats are released back to the wild. Instead of releasing the sweet girl, I brought her home and tamed her. A friend of our director reached out because multiple kitties had been dumped at her property in Wilmington. We took in 12 cats and they have all been vetted, spayed/neutered.  Seth is a handsome flamepoint siamese - friendly and sweet. Great with other kitties and happy to be safe inside. He scratched his eye when we first got him and it is so much better now. He was adopted out but the resident cat just was not a fan....so he is back with us looking for his forever human! Born likely late spring of 2024, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $75 or 2 for $125. This little cutie escaped from her home and sadly the owners could not take her back for personal health reasons. She has lived outside for awhile! She was timid at first, and still is not very brave. However, she loves to be petted and is getting more brave every day! She is just squishy cute!! She has pretty blue eyes and is plush like a bunny. Currently fostered with other cats and does just fine. She would likely prefer a quiet household. Feline Leukemia PositiveWe are partnering with Tri-State Noah Project (TSNP) in an effort to help London find her forever home. This gorgeous girl was thrown outside in Kentucky when the only family she had ever known suspected that she might be pregnant. When we found out that she was on the streets, we wanted to bring her in and help her as quickly as possible. It was while she was out on the streets that she became infected with the feline leukemia virus. We know this because when she was first tested, it wasn't showing up. When she was tested again, she was positive. It doesn't stop her. London is a super sweet kitty that longs to be the only kitty in the house. She deserves to have a family committed to her. She takes a daily supplement that helps keep the virus at a minimum in her system which will most likely help her have a longer healthier life. London has a message for anyone considering opening up their heart and their home to her. I can't promise you that the life that I will live will be a long one but it is my hope whether it's a few months or many years that I will have the life that my heart longs for. I dream that I will one day know love like other "healthy" cats do... that I will be able to play like a kid at Christmas time surrounded by lots of kitty toys... I want to enjoy every bite of my tasty food ...Oh that I can sit by a window, look out and see nature at its best... maybe even become friends with a squirrel, a chipmunk and possibly even a little tiny bird that peers in the window to look at ME...I have visions of being in a real home with lots of space that enables me to feel like I have my freedom instead of living life in one room with so many other cats that are infected with the same virus. My heart aches for my own human to touch my fur every single day as they love on me. Whispering lips saying "I love you" just before kissing the top of my head. I want to know what it means to be cherished every minute of every day that I have. When my body decides it's time to take that journey out of this life and cross the "Rainbow Bridge," that my very special human will know that they gave me a GIFT of life that I could have never received without them. I trust they will not feel sorrow in my passing. but TREMENDOUS JOY in knowing that they were chosen to love me, but even more than that - I was chosen to love them during my time with them.
