Story
Please contact Jetta (Jetta.elliott@att.net) for more information about this pet.Two year old tortie point Siamese femaleScarlet is a rescue. She was feral when she arrived to the rescue. When she was spayed, they clipped one of her ear tips as normally feral cats are released back to the wild. Instead of releasing the sweet girl, I brought her home and tamed her. She is very sweet, very loving and looking for her forever home. She is currently in Harrison, Arkansas. Rescue pets are transported near your locations via the rescue network transport. Please do not inquire through Facebook, but rather send an email with your phone number to inquire.April 9, 2025, 4:15 pm

Story
Tuna is 100% feral. He has lived indoors since he was a kitten but is basically a ghost…you might see flashes of him on occasion, and he enjoys moving his water bowl around, so you will have small reminders of his existence.   Tuna coexists with people and other pets with no problem as long as no humans reach for him. He does like having animal companions and is also curious about children. Adults scare the daylights out of him. We suspect an adult may not have been kind to him when he was a very young kitten.   He is litter box trained, although he has a habit of kicking litter out of his box and then pooping in the pile he has made just outside the box. We simply keep a large plastic tray under his litter box for easy cleanup.   Thus far, Tuna has been uncooperative for vet care and will bite staff. He is up to date on vaccines and healthy at this time, but your vet should be aware that he must be sedated in his carrier like a feral cat prior to handling. March 25, 2025, 9:16 pm

Story
Mortimer may be a little shy at first, but give him a moment and you’ll see his true colors shine through. Once he knows you’re safe, he blossoms into a loving, affectionate companion who craves attention and cuddles. This handsome guy has had a rough start—he spent time outside where he was often picked on by other cats. Because of that, he’s understandably cautious in new situations. But don’t let that scare you off—Mortimer is all heart. He just wants to feel safe and loved. Mortimer has tested positive for FIV but keep reading: FIV is only transmitted through deep blood-drawing bite wounds. FIV+ cats can happy lives in socialized multi-cat households. FIV+ cats do not have a higher incidence of illness, and live the same lifespan as non FIV+ cats. Adoption fee is $100

Story
A friend of our director reached out because multiple kitties had been dumped at her property in Wilmington. We took in 12 cats and they have all been vetted, spayed/neutered.  How is the handsome social boy not adopted yet?? Seth is a handsome flamepoint siamese - friendly and sweet. Great with other kitties and happy to be safe inside. He scratched his eye when we first got him and it is so much better now. He was adopted out but the resident cat just was not a fan....so he is back with us looking for his forever human! Born likely late spring of 2024, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Adoption fee $75 or 2 for $125. He needs to be adopted with one of his buddies or in a home with other kitties (that will appreciate him!). Local adoptions only (Cincinnati) Here is our application http://purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.htmlMay 20, 2025, 4:44 pm

THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue and its volunteers have not evaluated this animal in any way and can not be held liable for the current condition or future care of the animal. Please work with the specific contact in the posting to confirm if the animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, etc. and for a complete description of the animal's personality and behavior traits.   Campbell is a small, gentle soul who was rescued from life outdoors and is now ready for a fresh start in a safe, loving home. With his striking Lynx Point Siamese markings and soft, expressive eyes, he's as beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside.   He's a friendly, cuddly, and affectionate boy who loves to purr and be near his humans. Playful and curious, Campbell enjoys exploring his space and will happily chase a toy or cozy up for a nap. He's also easygoing and gets along well with other cats, making him a great companion for a mellow multi-cat home.   While he may have some hearing limitations, he doesn't let that slow him down. What Campbell truly needs is a calm, consistent environment where he can feel secure and continue to grow more confident each day.   Campbell is a 2-year old, neutered male. Vaccinated and microchipped, he has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Application and small adoption fee required.    Campbell is ready to bring warmth, love, and companionship into your life. Could you be his forever person?   Contact Kelly kellymar444@yahoo.comMay 12, 2025, 6:09 pm

Story
Feline Leukemia PositiveWe are partnering with Tri-State Noah Project (TSNP) in an effort to help London find her forever home. This young lady is ready for her forever home! London is obviously stunning, but she’s so much more than that. She looks like royalty (and sometimes acts it, too) but what she really wants is to enjoy the simple things in life with you- sitting in your lap being adored, watching birds and other critters from the window, and playing with her favorite twist tie (because a better toy has never been invented). If you’re into yoga and exercise, she’s here for it! She’s an excellent partner for stretching and will happily sit on your belly or back while encouraging you to keep it up just a little bit longer. London loves being with people, but she’s pretty independent as well. She doesn’t get pushy for attention and is more than happy to do her own thing when you’re busy. She wants to bask in all the love, so she’d probably be happiest as the only kitty in your home. However if there are enough laps and food bowls to go around, she can peacefully coexist with another cat. She’s currently rooming with another kitty at her foster home and they get along pretty well (if you might be interested in providing a loving home for 2 kitties, London’s roommate is also available!) London is FeLV positive so should be kept solo or with other positive kitties only. She is doing well despite her diagnosis and is on a supplement we’ve used with many cats to great success. We recommend she remain on this supplement after adoption to give her the best chance at a long, happy life with you. FeLV is potentially contagious to other cats but not to people or other animals. There is a lot of outdated information about FeLV online so if you’re interested in learning more we recommend https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/feline-leukemia-virus-disease-complex for the most up-to-date and accurate information. We’re also happy to answer any questions you may have! London was infected with FeLV after the person who was supposed to love her kicked her out of her home because they thought she might be pregnant (and she was still a kitten herself!) Shortly after, she was found on the street by TriState Noah Project, the rescue we’re partnering with, and she’s been safe and well taken care of since. London is only about a year and a half old and we hope will live many more joyful years with your love and care. London hopes her person sees this post and adopts her, so she can finally start living her best life! She has been fully vetted, including microchip, vaccines, spay surgery, and combo tested FIV negative. Her adoption fee through TSNP is $80 If interested, please fill out our application completely at http://www.purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.html.  May 3, 2025, 11:58 am
