Meet Maia, a stunning and spirited girl ready to be your most unique and loving companion. Maia has two main settings: cuddles and chaos, meaning she'll either be curled up on your lap or plotting her next great adventure, usually involving a toy puzzle. Maia is the funniest, sweetest, bossiest, smartest, bravest, and most mischievous girl you'll ever meet. She is incredibly cuddly and seeks out her humans, thrilled to see you every time you come home. Her foster parent calls her a true friend, stating, "You will never be lonely." She is highly engaged in her environment and wants to be involved in everything you do. She melts for pets, especially between her eyes and under her chin, and makes lots of beautiful, expressive eye contact when talking to you. Like a classic Siamese, Maia is famously vocal, using a wide range of sounds to "talk" to you and make sure you know exactly what she needs. She is one of the most playful cats around, excelling at solving treat puzzles and throwing her whole body into games. She doesn't love feeling restrained, though, and while cuddles must be her idea, she is quick to adapt after briefly assessing new situations. Maia is a superstar who takes her daily challenges in stride. She has a spinal abnormality and gastrointestinal hypomotility, which causes her to be partially incontinent. She uses the litter box approximately 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time, she does not seem to be able to feel urine or feces leaving her body. This means that surfaces she spends time on will need to be protected. Her biggest challenge is the cleanup involved with her incontinence. However, she is a champ at managing her medical needs, taking her daily medication without complaint and maintaining her health with a high-fiber diet, both of which she will need for life. Her foster parent emphatically states, "She is worth it!" Maia is healthy, happy, and fully thriving now that her regimen is established. Cindy is a Siamese mix and her brother Cowboy is a tuxedo with the personality of a Siamese and the colors of a cow. They both have super silky, soft coats. They were born approximately May 2025 outside. They and their mom were fed by a human who cared for them, but who didn't hold them much. So when I got them to do TNR, I wanted to keep them for a week or two to see how they would do inside. If they had to be returned to the outside, they would be fed but they would have to live with toads and cigarette butts and no vet care ever. With time, they started to trust their foster and started getting comfortable. And 3 months later, they're still on the more shy side, but they have learned to trust. They love to be petted and they purr up a storm, but hey do not like to be picked up, and they're not lap cats. The first time they see someone new, Cowboy will hiss as a greeting, but that soon goes away. Cowboy loves to play and chase any feather toy on a string. He gets so excited and runs and runs even if he is out of breath he "Must get feather". He is very funny and talks a lot. He also loves to roll around and be petted. Belly rubs are his favorite. He purrs super loudly and enjoys attention. Cindy is the more quiet sister. She is more of an observer, but will come out to play once her brother has gotten all of the attention he demands and is exhausted from sprinting after the toys. She loves cheek scratches and purrs up a storm as well. She is a bit more reserved than Cowboy but still enjoys love and attention. They are very bonded. Once his sister ran out of the foster room, Cowboy didn't stop crying until his sister decided come back from her excursion. They are both on the smaller side for their age. # Meet Harry: A Loving Siamese Seeking a Forever Home Harry is a charming Siamese cat with a heart full of love and intelligence. He initially found his way to my home by befriending my cats. After discovering his previous owner, we learned Harry was left behind by a friend and was often allowed to wander in freezing weather. During a snowstorm, a kind neighbor found him, and his original owner chose not to reclaim him. Though Harry is sweet and gets along well with people, my three cats are not adjusting to his presence. Harry deserves a loving forever home where he can thrive as the only feline companion.
