Meet Levi, a stunning Lynx Point Siamese mix.  He is one of the most loving and affectionate cats.  He just loves his people and loves to be around them.  He ended up meeting a kitten that he just fell in love with and they instantly became incredibly bonded.  The kitten's name is Lily and she is not his own kitten but just one that he met and became bonded with.  He spends his days watching over her, cuddling and grooming her.  Lily loves him and looks to him as a dad.  She is incredibly bonded to him as well and will look to him for comfort as she is a bit more shy than he is.  This pair does well with other cats but we are not sure how they will do with dogs at this point. *Levi and Lily are a bonded pair and must be adopted together*  All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. Maia is a superstar who takes her daily challenges in stride. She has a spinal abnormality and gastrointestinal hypomotility, which causes her to be partially incontinent. She uses the litter box approximately 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time, she does not seem to be able to feel urine or feces leaving her body. This means that surfaces she spends time on will need to be protected. Her biggest challenge is the cleanup involved with her incontinence. However, she is a champ at managing her medical needs, taking her daily medication without complaint and maintaining her health with a high-fiber diet, both of which she will need for life. Her foster parent emphatically states, "She is worth it!" Maia is healthy, happy, and fully thriving now that her regimen is established. Soloman was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He is a stunningly beautiful Siamese-mix boy with an equally stunning purrsonality. Soloman is confident, social, and friendly. He loves human beings and will happily greet you when you enter any room that he is in. Soloman loves petting and will head butt you to request more pets if you stop before he is ready to be done. He is currently housed in a colony cat room and getting along beautifully with the other cat-friendly cats in there. Soloman is a huge fan of Churu snack tubes, comfy hidey spots, and toy springs for batting around. We suspect he will be a lap cat or at the very least a snuggler as he is so people-oriented.
