Dulce de Leche - NJ Dulce. Such a truly sweet name for such a sweet girl and what a survivor! This lady survived 2 major snowstorms left outside on her own. She was found with a horrible wound on her back and was sweet enough for the finder to scoop her up and bring her to us. After a lot of digging - we found out she really did have a rough few months. We could track down her history because she was microchipped. She was adopted from another rescue who received her as an owner surrender a few months prior. She did have a small sore but that was not brought to the attention of the new adopter and no medication was sent home with her although she did have a few days of antibiotics before adopted. When we contacted the rescue notifying them that she needed surgery for an open wound, they relinquished her to our rescue. She was only with her recent adopter a brief period of time, got out the door and the adopter moved a couple weeks later out of state. We had no way to know if the open wound was from hiding under a car, possibly a burn, or a burst cyst. Our wonderful vet after examining her said the area could be debrided and use meds for a few months or to do surgery since there was enough skin to close. We opted to do the surgery for quicker healing and comfort. Even the staff fell in love with her she was so good. She healed well and all seemed fine. Until... a month later she had a few scabs and sores around mouth and on back as well as her behind was swollen and raw. Back to the vet! Fortunately this was not something life threatening if handled properly - she has food allergies!!!! Fast forward to today - she is on a strict diet and doing amazingly well. She will need to stay on certain foods only and can be in a household with another cat if a microchip feeder is used so she cannot get to regular cat food or if both cats are on the same diet. You really cannot ask for a sweeter girl that deserves only the best. Other than her food allergy she is a very healthy, happy, loving lady that deserves the best of everything. She will reward you with endless love, kisses and cuddles! Unfortunately being in a rescue and foster home, she cannot have free roam because she will hunt out everyone else's food! She deserves to be allowed to follow you around like she craves to do here and does when someone can keep an eye on her. She gets along with most of the other cats and is fine with the resident dogs. Now all she needs is love, freedom of the house and a family that will love her and not let anything else happen to her. She's been through plenty!! Meet Yoko! 💗.Yoko is a gorgeous 5½-year-old seal-point Siamese with beautiful blue eyes and a sweet round face. Originally rescued from Texas as a kitten, Yoko has been deeply loved, but sadly her caretaker passed away and she now needs a new forever home. Yoko is incredibly affectionate, intelligent, playful and interactive. She loves being involved in whatever her person is doing, follows you around the house, talks to you in true Siamese fashion, greets you when you come home and loves sleeping with her person. She still gets her silly zoomies and has a fun, BIG personality! Yoko is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, indoor-only and has excellent litter-box habits. Yoko MUST be the only pet in her new home. She needs someone looking for an affectionate, involved companion who will truly become part of their everyday life. She does well with children. Because Yoko doesn’t travel well, we’re seeking a permanent home reasonably close to Burlington County NJ.

Condor was an incidental find while trapping at our church colony. No one knew he existed - but fate stepped in one night I was driving through to check the colony and saw him about a block away. I immediately set up a trap and within 10 minutes he was trapped and onto a better life! Condor was a true feral. He was aggressive and had rules we needed to follow. Knowing that the colony could not be returned - I made the decision to keep him and work with him. Everyone told me he was too feral and to put him back and I mean everyone ! But, as with everything you gotta start somewhere! I started giving him churu thru the carrier holes in his cage (he was super scary!) he would growl, lunge, grumble and make it known we’d we were not welcome. Baby steps with churu thru the carrier holes, then with my finger thru the hole, then front carrier … it was a lot of small steps in the right direction!! Eventually I heard PURRING coming from the carrier - it would make imagine my elation!!! The rest is history, he's a feral2friendly graduate! Condor is a very chatty and attention seeking boy! He comes running when you call his name and enjoys being pet and brushed. He is not shy - he solicits for attention and will rub you your legs to say “hey I’m down here” when seeking love! He is well tolerated by other cats and does great this them. Everyone loves Condor - human and kitty alike! He would do better with other cats as he loves their companionship. A suggested friend for him would be one of his fellow adoption center friends- ask us about who would be a good match for him! Adopt this sweetie today! ##1542805##

Meet Leonardo DiCatrio! Leo is a 5 month old, 5lb male Domestic Shorthair. Leo can usually be found curled up with his kitten friends or wrestling with his brother Catrick, really a go with the flow kind of guy. He’s a sweet little dude, quiet and observant but also playful and curious. He’s learning he likes to be pet and is getting more social by the day. Leonardo DiCatrio is currently at our cat habitat at the Plainville CT Petsmart. Kittens are only adopted in pairs or to homes with other friendly, social pets. They are very social by nature and need to be with other pets for their socialization. Leonardo DiCatrio's adoption fee is $300; to adopt a pair of kittens, the combined adoption fee is $450. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals.
