Story
Beautiful Bella is a stunner and a sweetheart! She's a gorgeous Siamese and tabby mix who was sadly surrendered by her owner, who could no longer care for her due to illness. Bella was confused and sad at first, but she's now blossoming into an affectionate and lovely kitty. With her big blue eyes and beautiful, unique coloring, Bella lives up to her name. She is friendly with people, enjoys being petted and likes dogs and other cats, especially the one she lived happily with before (Archie, who is also available for adoption - click here to read more about him: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/41179733-brooklyn-new-york-cat). Bella is about 6 years old. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and tested FIV- and Felv-. She's more than ready for a wonderful furrever home! As a special/rare breed, Bella's adoption fee is $225. If you're interested in meeting Bella, fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you click on Bella and identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER when you fill out the form! Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street. Story
Smudgey and his sister MInkee were rescued in a field as kittens and socialized. He looks out for his sister. He likes his cheeks & chin rub when petting and allows kisses. He loves playing with toys and batting them around. He is bonded with his sister so we are looking for an experienced cat person to adopt them both if possible. Updated 1/13/23.

Story
Introducing Wagashi and Umeboshi, a delightful pair of feline friends whose bond is as heartwarming as their personalities. Wagashi, the charming boy, and Umeboshi, the sweet girl, share an inseparable connection, often found snuggled up together in peaceful rest. Their impeccable manners and gentle nature shine through, as they are polite and timid, never showing aggression towards people. Umeboshi is the quicker to warm up, eagerly familiarizing herself with new friends and more than willing to indulge in cuddles, happily lounging on your lap. Her affectionate demeanor and readiness for snuggles will quickly win your heart. Wagashi, on the other hand, prefers to be in your company from a slight distance. He enjoys sharing a room with you, staying nearby but not too close, showing a preference for personal space over physical contact. Nevertheless, he's completely docile when held, allowing you to pet him without any fuss. Both cats have a particular fondness for dry food, showing less interest in wet food, which is a bonus for keeping feeding costs manageable. Their easy-going eating habits and low-maintenance lifestyle make them perfect companions for someone who appreciates the sweet simplicity of feline company. Adopting Wagashi and Umeboshi means welcoming a bundle of joy and tranquility into your home. They promise a life filled with affectionate moments, serene companionship, and the gentle, loving presence that only such a special pair can offer. Open your heart and home to them, and experience the unique charm and delightful harmony they bring.  April 19, 2024, 12:53 pm
