Smokey was found under my ex-spouse's porch when he was 6 weeks old. He is currently almost 3 years old. While he can be snuggly when he finds "his person" he is not good with other pets. He loves to be around my children and watch them, but not held unless he comes up to them. However, he gets nervous around a lot of children and strangers. I think part of it is that he is very protective of his people/family/home. When feeling nervous or overwhelmed he can try to scratch or sometimes bite. I am moving in with my girlfriend and blending our families together with more children and a dog so the environment is not ideal for Smokey. We have tried and he becomes very nervous and stressed. I'd love for him to go to the right home where he can find a new love and feel secure.

Affectionate, sweet, and cuddly only begin to describe Damon, a loving, handsome, and clever little guy. Approximately 2-3 years old, Damon is a long-haired lynx point Siamese with the most beautiful blue eyes and the fluffiest tail. We’re not sure if his looks exceed his personality or vice versa, but he sure is a one-of-a-kind kitty! Damon loves hanging out with his person/people, making biscuits, rubbing up against their legs, getting lots of pets, and chilling out. He’s also got a playful side, is an avid bell and stuffed mice chaser, and he loves to be high up on a perch so he can take everything in from above. Sitting on the windowsill watching birds and squirrels is another favorite activity. As a lynx point Siamese, Damon's adoption fee is $300.   Damon was found outside by some Good Samaritans in Brooklyn. When they found him, they were told that he had been outside for at least a few days. Well, his days abandoned outside are behind him now! Damon is 2-3 years old and healthy. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and tested fiv/felv negative. Dow Jones is one hell of a cat. The lucky family that gets to adopt him will be met with an incredibly loyal, gentle, affectionate, and playful cat that just loves to be in your company. He sleeps at the foot of his fosters bed and gets SO excited when they get home and follows them from room to room.  Besides his humans, his favorite thing in the entire world is his Ripple Rug. It's his comfort place and his play space.  Dow Jones was found on the side of the road, injured and emaciated. With the help of his amazing vet team he fought his way back from the brink of death and had a new lease on life. Little did we know that would just be the beginning of DJ's story. Once he was decompressing in his foster home, it became apparent that he had a lower airway condition, resulting in him coughing and getting congested. After a few hospital stays, DJ was diagnosed with Feline Asthma. It is currently controlled by an inhaler that he takes like a perfect angel 2x a day, and occasionally some oral meds when needed. He knows his routine, and goes to his Ripple Rug when it's time for his inhaler. He takes all of this in his stride because it is so clear that he is so happy to be alive. He absolutely LOVES churu treats and does not care if they come with meds in them.  He's be happy with another cat in the home, or as your one and only!
