Meet Pepper! Pepper is a 2 year old male Siamese/Tabby. This animal is coming up on a transport to the NYC Area THIS Saturday, April 27th and is looking for a foster home to go into. There are multiple shelters down south that are overcrowded and Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue partners with these shelters to move the animals into foster homes in the North East before they are adopted into their forever family homes. What does it mean to be a foster? The first, and most important, responsibility is to provide a caring and safe home environment. There are some very specific guidelines that we will share with you that will keep everyone safe and healthy. From basic food and water, quarantine periods, and where you can or cannot take your foster, our Foster Handbook and Foster Mentors are fantastic resources. Depending on what type of animal you're fostering, you'll need some things in advance. These items may include a crate, puppy pads, or food and water bowls but we have a large foster network that helps share supplies! Meet Kiki, a gentle and elegant 6.5-year-old Lynx-point Siamese with a heart full of love. I welcomed Kiki into my home four years ago, and she quickly became a cherished member of my family. Despite her initial shyness, Kiki is a true sweetheart who adores snuggling up in cozy blankets and receiving gentle pets on her soft fur. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I must find a new loving home for Kiki as I am relocating to Hong Kong, where my landlord does not allow pets. Additionally, Kiki experiences anxiety, particularly during long journeys, which makes the thought of a 16-hour international flight concerning for her well-being. Kiki thrives on gentle affection and a quiet atmosphere, making her a perfect companion for someone looking for a calm and loving feline friend. Precious is a Cream Point Siamese with soft fur. She is sweet and playful. She was rescued from outside with 5 siblings just in time. She has been bathed, dewormed, vet examined, is up to date with vaccines, tested (neg.), spayed and micro-chipped. Updated 2/19/23

Smudgey and his sister MInkee were rescued in a field as kittens and socialized. He looks out for his sister. He likes his cheeks & chin rub when petting and allows kisses. He loves playing with toys and batting them around. He is bonded with his sister so we are looking for an experienced cat person to adopt them both if possible. Updated 1/13/23.
