Smokey was found under my ex-spouse's porch when he was 6 weeks old. He is currently almost 3 years old. While he can be snuggly when he finds "his person" he is not good with other pets. He loves to be around my children and watch them, but not held unless he comes up to them. However, he gets nervous around a lot of children and strangers. I think part of it is that he is very protective of his people/family/home. When feeling nervous or overwhelmed he can try to scratch or sometimes bite. I am moving in with my girlfriend and blending our families together with more children and a dog so the environment is not ideal for Smokey. We have tried and he becomes very nervous and stressed. I'd love for him to go to the right home where he can find a new love and feel secure.

Dow Jones is one hell of a cat. The lucky family that gets to adopt him will be met with an incredibly loyal, gentle, affectionate, and playful cat that just loves to be in your company. He sleeps at the foot of his fosters bed and gets SO excited when they get home and follows them from room to room.  Besides his humans, his favorite thing in the entire world is his Ripple Rug. It's his comfort place and his play space.  Dow Jones was found on the side of the road, injured and emaciated. With the help of his amazing vet team he fought his way back from the brink of death and had a new lease on life. Little did we know that would just be the beginning of DJ's story. Once he was decompressing in his foster home, it became apparent that he had a lower airway condition, resulting in him coughing and getting congested. After a few hospital stays, DJ was diagnosed with Feline Asthma. It is currently controlled by an inhaler that he takes like a perfect angel 2x a day, and occasionally some oral meds when needed. He knows his routine, and goes to his Ripple Rug when it's time for his inhaler. He takes all of this in his stride because it is so clear that he is so happy to be alive. He absolutely LOVES churu treats and does not care if they come with meds in them.  He is currently in a foster home with another cat and we think he'd love a feline friend in his forever home too!  Dow Jones is approximately 3-4yrs old, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV, and positive for FIV. Calm and affectionate, she loves lounging in cozy spots and unwinding with her favorite pastime: watching Cat TV on the iPad. Ming Li is shy at first, but food is the way to her heart. She loves to be brushed and pampered and is learning how to play with toys. Ming Li can be a solo cat or can live with laid back cats or dogs after a slow and proper introduction. Affectionate and playful Theo is now available for adoption! Theo is been the most affectionate and friendliest little boy, rewarding us with purrs, biscuits, head butts and rubs. He’s a total lovebug!  Theo doesn’t mind being cuddled for a short period of time and/or on his terms, but then he needs to release his kitten energy and play with toys.  This sweet “‘meezer” doesn’t sit still for long.  Theo loves other cats and gets along with new feline friends very easily.  He would do best in a household with at least one other cat.  He has never lived with a dog. Theo has been neutered, dewormed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV and is up to date on vaccines. We estimate that Theo was born in January 2025.
