Not good with kids, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Aura needs a little time to warm up and figure out her environment. When she does, you get a loving friend! A chatty Kathy. She loves to talk to you and give warm tail hugs around your leg! She will even kiss your nose with her gentle tongue. She’s playful! She loves mice and random strings. With all the fun, comes her boundaries. She does love pets, but they have to be on the top of her head or under her chin or she will be looking at your hand expressively. She loves her sleep and HATES being interrupted! She will give you a side eye and express with a meow that she wants to be left alone. She only likes dry food, but will not leave you alone if you have deli turkey! Overall she is a wonderful cat, and a great friend. When you come home, she’ll be waiting to greet you at the door (she does say hello when you open the door). And most of all, she LOVES her treats!

Story
Meet Snow From heartbreak to healing, Snow’s journey leads to you. 5–5.5 Years Old | Tabby-Tortie Siamese Mix | Gentle Soul with a Playful Heart Snow is a rare gem—graceful, soulful, and quietly radiant. With her unique blend of tabby, tortie, and Siamese markings, she’s as striking as she is sensitive. But it’s her heart, not her coat, that makes her unforgettable. Raised by a loving elderly woman from kittenhood, Snow knew only one world—quiet days, soft voices, and a gentle rhythm. When her person passed away, Snow’s world unraveled. She was deeply shaken, unsure how to move forward. But after nearly a year in foster care, she’s blossoming again—ready to trust, ready to love, and ready to find her forever home. Snow takes a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’ll blink at you with soft eyes and rub against your leg, inviting you into her quiet joy. She loves being talked to, adores gentle pets, and finds comfort in cozy routines. She’s not a fan of being held, but she’ll sit beside you, sleep in your bed, and share her space with quiet devotion. Her favorite things? -Tossing toy mice in the air -Warming herself in sunbeams -Napping in hammocks and fuzzy blankets -Playing with springs, feathers, and scratching posts Ideal Home: - Quiet environment with no children under 12 - Best as a single kitty or with one gentle male cat - Okay with other cats; dogs tolerated but not preferred - Patient adopter who understands the beauty of slow trust Health: -Spayed -Vaccines up-to-date - Healthy -Micro-chipped with free lifetime subscription, an added benefit of adoption through our rescue. (Normally, $199 registration fee) - 15% off everything at the Pets Supplies Plus store, Hanes Mall in Winston Salem adoption bonus to help you set up for a kitty. These cutie is available through a new rescue, Rusty’s Tales Rescue, focused on rescuing and re-homing kitties. Whereas, Snow Camp Sanctuary will focus on saving feral kitties. Back to School Adoption Special: Adoption fee is $175. Apply before 9/31/25 and take $25 off her adoption fee. Snow is looking for someone who sees her—not just her beauty, but her bravery. Someone who will speak softly, play gently, and let her love unfold in its own time. She’s not just ready for a home—she’s ready for a heart. Are you the one Snow’s been waiting for? Let her blink her way into your life. She’s ready to love again. Apply here: https://rustystalesrescue.com/adoption-application

Story
Meet Mara 💙 — a beautiful Siamese kitten with a gentle heart and a soft soul. Mara was rescued from a difficult situation along with her siblings, and while she can be a little shy at first, her sweet personality quickly shines through once she feels safe. With a bit of patience, Mara blossoms into a very affectionate, loving kitten who enjoys quiet companionship, gentle pets, and cozy cuddle time. She’s healthy, playful in her own calm way, and will thrive in a home that understands her need to settle in at her own pace. If you’re looking for a tender, devoted companion, Mara is ready to give her heart to the right family. -Social -Playful -Sweet -Adorable -Litter box trained -Good with cats with an introduction She is the complete package! She must be adopted with her sister, Elia. Given her personality, we believe she would do well with other cats, children, and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction. Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, and group testing for FIV and FeLV. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our adoption page for more information on our adoption process and to complete our adoption application. https://www.julietshouse.org/online-adoption-applications Please note: Our policy is to adopt young kittens with a littermate, in a bonded pair, or to homes with a similar aged kitten. This policy ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development. *All in our program are assumed to be mixed breed as none have had genetic testing. They are designated based on characteristics observed and noted.
