Story
Meet the Beatrix Potter Kittens Discovered living under a trailer with their devoted mom, the Beatrix Potter litter has emerged from a rough start full of curiosity, playfulness, and charm. These tiny adventurers are exploring the world with wide-eyed wonder, turning every corner into a new discovery. With their affectionate natures and playful spirits, they’re ready to bring magic, joy, and love into the homes lucky enough to welcome them. Cottontail is the soft-hearted sweetheart of the litter. Curious and playful, she enjoys exploring and learning new things alongside her siblings. She’s also incredibly affectionate, with a calm, comforting presence that will make her a treasured companion for years to come. -Social -Playful -Sweet -Adorable -Litter box trained -Good with cats with an introduction She is the complete package! She must be adopted with Flopsy, her sister. Given her personality, we believe she would do well with other cats, children, and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction. Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, and group testing for FIV and FeLV. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our adoption page for more information on our adoption process and to complete our adoption application. https://www.julietshouse.org/online-adoption-applications Please note: Our policy is to adopt young kittens with a littermate, in a bonded pair, or to homes with a similar aged kitten. This policy ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development. *All in our program are assumed to be mixed breed as none have had genetic testing. They are designated based on characteristics observed and noted.

Story
Meet Balloon! Balloon is a beautiful flame point siamese mix who has lovingly raised her 4 babies and is now ready to find a forever home of her own. With her soft coloring and gentle, happy personality, she truly floats right into your heart. Balloon is playful and fun, especially when it comes to her favorite mouse toys, and she’s also wonderful with kids. She has a loving, easygoing nature and enjoys both playtime and quiet moments with her people.  Balloon is excited to be someone’s cherished companion. She doesn't do well with other cats, so needs to be the only cat. Unless you want to add in one of her babies! She gets along beautifully with them! If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate cat with a playful spirit, Balloon might be the perfect fit. ##2629475##

Story
I am very shy and need a cat savvy adopter and a home with another cat. I am not a lap cat. Apply to adopt via www.sparklecatrescue.org/adopt  Queenie is still shy.  She is OK with walking around when we are in the room, but she won't let me pet her unless it is right before I feed her canned food.  She won't sit next to anyone.  She's very independent.  ##2180016##

Story
NALA is beautiful on the outside but temperamental on the inside. Surrendered to the SCHS because she was combative with the other cat in the home, she is playful but will dictate when she wants what. She's definitely made progress at the SCHS, even wanting attention. Then, out of nowhere, she'll pop you to let you know she's done. She must go to an experienced cat owner and be an only cat. The standard adoption fee is $120 cash or $125 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. You may complete an application to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats.
