Story
Meet Pretty‑Boy Bigs and Little‑Legend Lena — two bottle‑fed babies from different beginnings who teamed up to become the sweetest duo you’ll ever meet. Lena, the older but much smaller of the pair, started life on the hardest difficulty setting. She was found alone on a driveway, placenta still attached, fighting through a rough first week that would’ve stopped a lesser kitten. But Lena? She’s a survivor. Scrappy, playful, loving, and absolutely unstoppable. Bigs came in around a week old — a chunky Siamese boy with a purr that could melt steel. After his two‑week quarantine, he met Lena… and instantly decided she was his partner in crime. He’s affectionate, gentle, and devoted, the kind of boy who insists on cuddle time. They nap curled together, play like a tiny two‑cat heist team, and groom each other like they’ve been siblings since birth. Their bond is real, deep, and absolutely unbreakable. They’re looking for a home together, where they can keep running their adorable little “operations” — mostly involving snuggles, zoomies, and stealing hearts. If you’re ready for a duo with personality, resilience, and double the love, Bigs and Lena are waiting to meet you. Note: Lena and Bigs will only be adopted as pair. The adoption fee includes their spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations. Story
I am very shy and need a cat savvy adopter and a home with another cat. I am not a lap cat. Apply to adopt via www.sparklecatrescue.org/adopt  Queenie is still shy.  She is OK with walking around when we are in the room, but she won't let me pet her unless it is right before I feed her canned food.  She won't sit next to anyone.  She's very independent.  ##2180016##

Story
Buddy came up our driveway when he was about 6 weeks old. He would run from us. 3 days he would eat in the woods but we could not get close. The 4th day we went outside and he was laying at the porch almost hidden....breathing rapid and very hot. 100 degrees outside. He did not move so we scooped him up and brought him inside...fed him and syringed water. He napped beside me for 6 hrs. He has been perfect since that day. That night I put him in a kennel and he was so tired he slept thru the whole night. He has slept in the kennel every night since. He gets in it when I turn the lights out. I lock it and he stays until morning. Never pottied in the kennel or the house...went straight to litter. He is an awesome cat and it breaks my heart to have to give him away...we are buddies. He does not claw up furniture...I have many cardboard scratching boards and he loves them. He will fetch his favorite toy and bring it right back to me. I want him to have a very loving and safe home.

Story
Gizmo is a very sweet and affectionate boy who loves to snuggle! He gets along with other cats and with dogs. Gizmo has mild CH. He can do anything other cats can, he just does it a little slower. He uses the litter box and does not need assistance with eating or drinking water. Gizmo was found as a stray, very badly emaciated but he's healthy and doing great now! He is ready for his forever home!

Story
NALA is beautiful on the outside but temperamental on the inside. Surrendered to the SCHS because she was combative with the other cat in the home, she is playful but will dictate when she wants what. She's definitely made progress at the SCHS, even wanting attention. Then, out of nowhere, she'll pop you to let you know she's done. She must go to an experienced cat owner and be an only cat. The standard adoption fee is $120 cash or $125 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. You may complete an application to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Thanks for considering adopting a rescue pet! Adoption fees for pets with Stanly County Humane Society are to cover the following: *Spay/Neuter *Heartworm/Feline Testing *All standard vaccinations *Rabies Vaccination *Microchip  March 8, 2026, 3:52 pm
