NALA is beautiful on the outside but temperamental on the inside. Surrendered to the SCHS because she was combative with the other cat in the home, she is playful but will dictate when she wants what. She's definitely made progress at the SCHS, even wanting attention. Then, out of nowhere, she'll pop you to let you know she's done. She must go to an experienced cat owner and be an only cat. The standard adoption fee is $120 cash or $125 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. You may complete an application to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Meet Ducky! Ducky was found outside a resident’s home in Statesville with her four tiny kittens—Marie, Toulouse, Berlioz and O’Malley. She has been a devoted momma, keeping her little Aristocats safe, fed and loved. Now that her kittens are growing and preparing for homes of their own, it is Ducky’s turn to be cared for. She deserves a loving forever home where she can finally relax, feel safe and enjoy being someone’s cherished companion. Ducky will be available for adoption beginning September 26. Adoption fee: $150, which includes deworming, vaccination and spay. Apply to adopt Ducky at:https://northmeckanimalrescue.org/ ##2819632##

Mizu is a very sweet boy, he was born on Halloween with a twin brother. He’s usually a quiet cat but occasionally likes to talk to try and get someone’s attention for when he wants to play, needs something, or feels lonely. He also likes to pick up and drag clothes around the house to try and give them to us or bring them to a place near his favorite sleeping spot.
