Story
Meet Ese (pronounced easy), a petite 7-month-old Snowshoe Siamese kitten with a resilient spirit and a gentle heart. She came from a backyard colony of 12 cats, where she was the runt and the eighth to be fixed. After a tough start, Ese is now in foster care and getting the second chance she deserves.
Ese is a sweet and playful kitten who has learned to trust. She loves interactive play, especially chasing her feather wand through a tunnel and has impressive laser pointer skills. One of her favorite things to do after playing is relaxing on her window perch, watching birds and squirrels. She even has Cat T.V. - screen time isn't just for humans.😹
Ese has made remarkable progress and on her way to becoming a lap cat. Pull out the brush, and she will melt into you. She is thriving and has the most adorable little trills and squeaks and an endearing little bow legged sashay. Her little purr-sonality has begun to shine! 💖
Ideal Home:
* Quiet or moderately low-traffic household
* Experienced cat adopter or someone open to learning about feline behaviors
* No young children (she's not a fan of being picked up at random)
* Another confident, friendly cat would be fine with proper introductions (Jackson Galaxy-style recommended)
Ese is at that purr-fect kitten age and blossoming into a beautiful, sweet little soul who will be a wonderful feline companion.
Ese has been spayed, received rabies vax, fvrcp & booster, combo tested negative, dewormed and flea treatment/prevention and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200 (this covers the cost of her medical treatment/care and allows FFF to continue to help other cats like her). She is litter box trained, too!
Friends of Feral Felines:
A small all-volunteer, donor-funded organization whose mission is to improve the lives of community cats in and around Charlotte, NC. Our focus is TNVR (Trap.Neuter.Vaccinate.Return). Hundreds of kittens, like Ese, are born in backyards everyday with no reprieve from the reproduction cycle (kittens can get pregnant as early as 4 months old). At 5 months of age, Ese was covered in fleas, malnourished, dehydrated and pregnant. Her life story changed the day our volunteer showed up. Please consider following us on social media as our volunteers work to save lives through prevention to alleviate suffering. Volunteers are always welcome, too!
