Please contact Jamie (jamie@pawsandprayers.org) for more information about this pet.  Meet Badger! Badger was brought to Paws and Prayers as a neonatal and is now finally ready for a new home! Badger was handed a rough start to life. He had an eye issue that couldn’t be resolved until he was neutered but has since been fixed. His eyelid was attached to his eye and has been surgically repaired. Moving forward, Badger may experience leakage in that eye but it doesn’t effect his vision and does not require antibiotics. Badger also has chronic URI - he is on a daily l-lysine supplement to help. Due to this, he would be best as an only cat in the home. Otherwise, he is playful, loving, and outgoing. His adoption fee is $135 Paws and Prayers Kittens are spay/neuter, have received at least two vaccines (adopter responsible for third kitten booster and rabies), have had a littermate or themselves FIV/FeLV tested, dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litterbox trained unless otherwise noted. Squeak is a truly eye-catching Siamese kitten with striking looks and a big personality waiting to shine. She arrived with us just before Christmas after being transferred from an overcrowded shelter, along with her brother, Pip. While Squeak does not need to be adopted with her brother, we always like to let adopters know when littermates arrive together in case they’re hoping to keep siblings in the same home. We don’t know how Pip and Squeak ended up in a shelter, but we do know Squeak is ready to leave her past behind and start a bright new chapter with a loving family. Since arriving, she has been treated for an eye infection and has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. So, she's all set for adoption! What to Expect from Squeak Squeak has a typical kitten energy level: playful, curious and full of enthusiasm. She’ll enjoy interactive play, exploring her surroundings, engaging with her people, and cozy naps. Siamese cats are known for being intelligent and social, so Squeak will thrive in a home that enjoys interacting with their cat. Adopters should be prepared to provide: * Daily play and mental stimulation to keep her active and engaged * High-quality kitten food to support healthy growth * Routine veterinary care, including booster vaccines and regular wellness exams * A safe indoor home with toys, scratching posts and places to climb * Time, patience and affection as she grows and bonds with her family Fun Facts About Siamese Cats: * Siamese cats are often called “people-oriented” cats because they love being involved in whatever their humans are doing. * They’re known for their intelligence and can even learn tricks or enjoy puzzle toys. Please note: Squeak has a special adoption fee of $200. If you’re looking for a playful, smart and beautiful kitten who will keep life entertaining, Squeak may be the perfect addition to your home! The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
