Story
Affectionate and playful Theo is now available for adoption! Theo is been the most affectionate and friendliest little boy, rewarding us with purrs, biscuits, head butts and rubs. He’s a total lovebug!  Theo doesn’t mind being cuddled for a short period of time and/or on his terms, but then he needs to release his kitten energy and play with toys.  This sweet “‘meezer” doesn’t sit still for long.  Theo loves other cats and gets along with new feline friends very easily.  He would do best in a household with at least one other cat.  He has never lived with a dog. Theo has been neutered, dewormed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV and is up to date on vaccines. We estimate that Theo was born in January 2025. To apply to adopt Theo, please complete our online adoption application at https://petstablihed.com/adoption_form/15688/generic.    Theo’s adoption fee is $145, which will be used to offset the costs of his vetting.   Theo is located in Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  Ideally, his adopter should live within an hour’s drive. We do not ship animals. ##2509416##

Story
Smokey was found under my ex-spouse's porch when he was 6 weeks old. He is currently almost 3 years old. While he can be snuggly when he finds "his person" he is not good with other pets. He loves to be around my children and watch them, but not held unless he comes up to them. However, he gets nervous around a lot of children and strangers. I think part of it is that he is very protective of his people/family/home. When feeling nervous or overwhelmed he can try to scratch or sometimes bite. I am moving in with my girlfriend and blending our families together with more children and a dog so the environment is not ideal for Smokey. We have tried and he becomes very nervous and stressed. I'd love for him to go to the right home where he can find a new love and feel secure.

Story
Sugar and Coot are a pair of beautiful Siamese mix siblings who have shared their whole lives together. Recently, their world changed in a heartbreaking way when their beloved mom passed away, and a family member brought them to the shelter. It’s been a confusing and scary transition for two cats who once knew the comfort of a loving home.Through all the changes, however, one thing has remained constant—they have each other. Sugar and Coot take comfort in their familiar bond, and it’s clear that being together helps them feel safe in an unfamiliar place. Both are friendly, gentle cats who are simply trying to understand what life looks like now. We believe the best way to help them heal and move forward is to find them a new home together, where they can continue to support each other the way they always have.If you have room in your heart and home for two sweet companions who have already proven the strength of their love for one another, Sugar and Coot would be so grateful for the chance to start their next chapter with you. Sometimes the best families come in pairs. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our adoption questionnaire and a staff member will reach out to schedule a meet and greet.https://hamiltonmcnj.seamlessdocs.com/f/AdoptionApplication, or you can stop by during shelter hours to visit the cats in our adoption room.Hamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot offer any guarantees on the age, health, temperament, personality or mental disposition of any pet. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This lovely Siamese girl may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a bit of patience and she’ll quickly show you her true personality. Once she feels safe, she transforms into an affectionate attention-lover who wants to be right by your side. She absolutely adores chin scratches — they’re her favorite way to bond — and her reward is a loud, happy purr that starts almost instantly and doesn’t stop! When she trusts you, she’ll lean in for more pets, soak up every bit of affection, and happily make up for lost time. She would thrive in a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace and blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will reward your patience with endless purrs and devotion, she just might be your purrfect match.
