Story
Please contact Jetta (Jetta.elliott@att.net) for more information about this pet.2 year old female ragdoll catSky is a wonderful kitty who loves to give kisses and snuggle. She loves dogs, but is not a huge fan of cats. We live in a house with many cats and there’s no fighting. She just hisses here and there once in a while. She is a cross between balinese snd ragdoll so she sheds less than a ragdoll. Sky has a treadmill, but she doesn’t use it for anything more than napping on. She loves going for walks around the yard with me. Her favorite pastime is laying in the window perch. Sky comes whenever she’s called to be pet, but is not overly clingy or pushy to stay on my lap. Sky is currently located in Harrison Arkansas that can be transported to you via the rescue network transport. Inquires can be sent directly to Ozark Homeward Bound or directly to this email address: Jetta.elliott@att.netJuly 4, 2025, 1:11 am

Story
I have had Luna since she was a kitten. A friend found her and her 2 siblings abandoned by their mama. She is sassy, and craves attention. She does this little rag doll plop on the floor for her greeting. She will tolerate belly rubs and she will let you know when she has ad enough. She just turned 6 this June... and I have been struggling with my health. I never imagined that I would need to give her up. She is used to multiple cat home. I do not think dogs are a good fit because she has not had much exposure. About 3 years ago now, she was around a small dog for approx. a month and she retreated most of that time. She is not a lap cat persay, but she loves her pets and cuddles on her terms. She may be best suited for single cat life. Luna is also a very verbal cat and she has these chirpy purrs. She has been a gift for me in so many ways.

Story
To adopt from East Coast Maine Coon Rescue (ECMCR) please fill out our adoption application which can be found on our website: http://www.ecmcr.org/form_adoption_application.php NC - CP Sapphire: Sapphire was named for her gorgeous blue eyes. She was found living outside in the woods along with her 4 kittens, which was likely her first litter. Sadly, her kittens were taken by a predator, but she survived. Sapphire is a special needs kitty because she needs a special person who will help her along her road from semi feral recovery. She’s currently living inside and is still timid. She loves to be around other cats but would not suggest a home with dogs or small children. She needs someone that has time to spend with her and will give her the latitude to just “be” and progress on her own terms. Sapphire has a lot of potential but just needs the right person and a loving environment to learn to fully trust. She tries hard everyday.. Sapphire prefers to be an observer right now. She does love to chase the laser light and likes playing with balls that have bells. She also really enjoys the company of other cats. Sapphire is a Courtesy Post listing and does not belong to East Coast Maine Coon Rescue. For more information about Sapphire, please contact Gina at taffycatrescuer@gmail.com.  October 27, 2024, 12:11 pm

Story
Birch is a 6 year old sealpoint Siamese. My family adopted her in 2021 from a foster family. She was a stray cat previously and was found on a porch in south Philly looking for a warm place to sleep. We don’t know much about her history before that but assume she lived on the streets until then. She has been spayed is up to date on all of her shots and vet appointments. Birch is a very sweet cat that loves attention. She’s very playful and friendly. She loves to roll over and have her belly pet. She’s never standoffish and will take as much attention as she can get. She loves to cuddle and sleep with people. She’s the kind of cat that wouldn’t hurt a fly. She’s not super agile and likely won’t jump up and knock over anything. The highest she can make it is up to my bed. She’s playful and loves to chase toys. We think she would do well with other cats but haven’t had the chance to introduce her to other friendly cats. Even though she grew up as a stray she makes a great indoor cat.
