Xanthia is a big (over 12 lbs), loving, beautiful, Tortie Point Siamese mix girl who loves her people.  She lived with two young children and did very well with the,  She would do best in a quiet home with no other pets or with one other calm kitty that leaves her alone.  She was picked on by the cats in her most recent home of 8 months.  They tried everything to make it a successful match but it just wasn't working out, and she was stressed from the possibility of being attacked.  She is a bit out of sorts right now as change is hard and scary, but she loves being pet and once she is settled, is happy to be held, picked up, etc.  She stomach has not reacted well to foods like Friskies or Meow Mix dry that have red dyed food.  She has done well on 4health Untamed, various flavors (Tractor Supply).     All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. Meet Xanthia by applying to adopt to schedule a meet and greet in her foster home. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. The one on the right is Mocha. The one on the left is Leo. They are Lynx Point Siamese. Leo may have some Ragdoll in him. They are bonded brothers. Will have to be adopted together. They will be 5 in October. Leo is a nervous cat, and his brother calms him down. They are good with kids. Mocha loves to go outside in the morning and watch the birds. Leo does not like the outdoors and prefers to always be inside. Leo craves attention and loves cuddles. Mocha is independent. They love to chase each other and wrestle. Afterwards, they sit and groom each other. Will come with supplies. We are devastated to rehome them, but dad has developed a serious allergy to dander and we cannot keep them indoors anymore. Would love to stay updated on their lives.
