Story
Meet Princess Nora – A Gentle, Loving Siamese Mix Looking for Her Forever Throne Princess Nora is a 9-year-old, 8-pound Siamese mix with a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. She’s a quiet, affectionate companion who adores lap time and gentle pets. Though she can be a bit shy at first, once she trusts someone, she becomes incredibly loving and loyal. This sweet girl enjoys being held but is still a little apprehensive, so a calm, patient home would be best for her. Quick movements and loud noises can make her nervous, so she’s not recommended for homes with small children. Each morning, she meows softly for attention, asking for her favorite thing — love and headbutts! Princess Nora has been quarantined due to a possible upper respiratory infection, so she hasn’t yet been tested with other cats in her foster home. However, she previously lived with other cats and would likely do well with a calm, passive feline friend. She arrived missing part of her front arm and all of her teeth, likely due to previous stomatitis and full dental extractions, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. She eats well, enjoys affection, and loves spending time with her favorite humans. Details: Breed: Siamese Mix Age: 9 years Weight: 8 lbs Gender: Female Good with: Calm cats (pending testing) Best in a quiet home without small children Adoption fee: $100 Princess Nora is ready to find a peaceful home where she can be cherished and adored — just as every princess deserves. Story
Meet Mama Butterball & Cinnabon — the sweetest bonded duo you’ll ever meet Mama Butterball is a stunning blue-eyed lynx point Siamese with a gentle soul and a heart that’s even bigger than her beautiful eyes. She’s officially retired from motherhood and is now ready to enjoy the safe, cozy, spoiled-indoors-only life she so deeply deserves. Butterball is calm, affectionate, and loves being near her people. While she enjoys an occasional playful moment, she’s much happier lounging on a bed, cat tree, or — best of all — your lap, soaking up love and comfort. After surviving the harsh realities of life outdoors, she truly cherishes the simple luxuries of being safe, warm, and loved. She adores people and is friendly with everyone… though she does seem to have a special soft spot for men if given the choice. In the foster room, Butterball is known as the “room mom.” When she does roll call, she trills and chirps until all the kittens come running and are accounted for. If she hears even the tiniest cry — whether someone is being dramatic about a nail trim or playing a little too rough — she comes running to make sure everyone is okay, softly meowing with concern until peace is restored. And then there’s Cinnabon — her precious bonus baby. Cinnabon is a sweet, silly, and slightly dramatic little diluted calico who has grown so attached to Mama that they’ve become inseparable. Mama took her under her wing and continues to nurture, clean, and snuggle her… and Cinnabon is more than happy to accept her role as “the baby.” She still dry-nurses for comfort, follows Mama everywhere, and has that irresistible “you must love me” personality. Cinnabon loves to play with anything that moves, but when playtime is over you’ll find her curled up with Mama, protesting bath time, or crying adorably when Mama decides she’s done nursing for the moment. Because of their deep bond and how much comfort and joy they bring each other, Mama Butterball and Cinnabon are looking for a forever home together — one where they can continue their beautiful relationship and be cherished the way they deserve. If you’re looking for a pair that will fill your home with love, warmth, soft chirps, gentle cuddles, and a whole lot of heart… Mama Butterball and Cinnabon are waiting for you. Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We rescued our sweet Ellie girl 8 years ago. She’s very reserved and loves to do her own thing but won’t say no to some neck and head rubs. She is a night owl, loves to play with her toys and bring them to you at night. She’s litter box trained and free feeds. We think she would do well in a single pet home.

Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Camper is a very chill cat with beautiful markings. She took a little while to warm up to indoor life and will need gentle coaxing as she gets accustomed to her new surroundings. She enjoys napping on a heating pad during these cold days of January and is happy to be inside, not in the campground where she had been living. She doesn’t appear to be playful yet but she sure does love to have her head rubbed. Ideal family will be one which will continue to give her time to adjust and allow her some quiet time.  Camper has been exposed to a dog, cat and a hyper 4-year-old child and doesn’t seem phased by them.  She is very sweet and loves to be pet but still nervous about venturing around her foster home after about 10 days there.  She will definitely be one of those cats that goes by the 3/3/3 rule….3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, 3 months to start to feel at home.   Camper is in a foster home.  Complete the adoption application and a meet and greet can be scheduled.  All cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.  All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC. January 31, 2026, 12:17 am
