Magnolia Magnolia is a beautiful Siamese mix with a playful personality and a serious love of toys! She has yet to meet a toy she doesn’t like and is always ready for her next play session or a treat. Whether it’s chasing, pouncing, batting, or exploring, Magnolia is happiest when there is something fun to keep her busy. Give her a toy and you may just become her new best friend! Magnolia and her sister, Jolene, were born around June 25. Both girls are sweet but can be a little shy while getting to know new people and new surroundings. They are still building their confidence and would benefit from a patient, loving home willing to give them a little time to settle in and let their personalities shine. Magnolia and Jolene have grown up together and would make a wonderful pair. Ken is a handsome lilac-pt Siamese Snowshoe mix male about 1 year old (DOB about 7/1/25).  He was brought to a local veterinarian by someone who apparently found him and thought he needed to be humanely euthanized. He was extremely emaciated and dehydrated and appeared to have an injured paw. The doctor thought she could get him healthy again and asked the Stray Connection to sponsor his recovery and routine vetting.  He is doing well now and is ready for a new home. He does still limp a bit but has had physical therapy that helped. He is initially a bit cautious of people (and probably rightly so,  given his story), but he warms up super fast. He should do well with cats, older children, and nice dogs. Ken is negative for feline leukemia and aids, current on his distemper had his first distemper vaccine, been wormed, treated for fleas, vet checked and neutered.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 (land line) or hhfrey1@tds.net  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. These bonded sisters have been through a lot together. Both survived Panleukopenia, but This One was hit especially hard and came dangerously close to dying several times. Through the worst of it, her sister That One stayed right by her side. Now they're healthy, happy, inseparable, and still each other's favorite playmates. They may look like elegant, sophisticated little ladies, but don't be fooled. Their favorite way to bond is by launching themselves at each other from various hiding places, tackling each other midair, and turning playtime into a WWE match. Are they cross-eyed? Sometimes their eyes are perfectly straight. Sometimes they're doing their own thing. We've decided it's part of the charm. Once they've exhausted themselves, though, you get to see their softer side. They'll settle down, purr, and enjoy some quiet time with their person. They're also incredibly curious little creatures. A strange noise might startle them, but they'll recover quickly-and then have to investigate exactly what caused it. Their early quarantine meant limited exposure to people and other cats, so they need a patient home where trust isn't expected immediately and they can continue building confidence at their own pace. They've only recently been able to meet other cats, and their brief introductions have been very encouraging: they were extremely interested and completely non-hissy. These girls would be fantastic for empty nesters, established single adults, or young professionals who have their career and life in a good place but aren't looking to fill it with toddlers and a spouse just yet. They don't need a wild social life-they'll provide plenty of excitement at home. What they need is a responsible person with a stable, quieter household who can appreciate having two beautiful, entertaining little weirdos as their primary source of household entertainment.

Two kitties are needed to be adopted. Both are male, neutered, healthy (just had recent bloodwork done!!), microchipped and INDOOR only. They have never been outside in their lives. They come with everything you could possibly need to care for them. They were my mom's cats, who recently passed away, and I am unable to take them. Chester (siamese) is the alpha male. He loves to hunt (even if it's just pretending at the window), an avid nature watcher and rough houser with his brother Hank. He loves to be near you at all times and will sometimes call out for you if he doesn't know where you are. He is the watcher and will see everyone who comes in but can be a little shy when meeting new people. Hank (white) is a cuddly boy. He is a foodie and has been known to steal chicken right off your plate. He lives for long days in the cat tree lounging, followed by treats and lap cuddles. Whereever you are, Hank will be near by.
