Story
Ken is a handsome lilac-pt Siamese Snowshoe mix male about 1 year old (DOB about 7/1/25).  He was brought to a local veterinarian by someone who apparently found him and thought he needed to be humanely euthanized. He was extremely emaciated and dehydrated and appeared to have an injured paw. The doctor thought she could get him healthy again and asked the Stray Connection to sponsor his recovery and routine vetting.  He is doing well now and is ready for a new home. He does still limp a bit but has had physical therapy that helped. He is initially a bit cautious of people (and probably rightly so,  given his story), but he warms up super fast. He should do well with cats, older children, and nice dogs. Ken is negative for feline leukemia and aids, current on his distemper had his first distemper vaccine, been wormed, treated for fleas, vet checked and neutered.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 (land line) or hhfrey1@tds.net  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. The majority of our cats and kittens come from high kill shelters. Through our application and interview process, we strive to make the 'purrfect' match to insure a loving, lifelong home for those in our care. Story
Meet Manicotti, a beautiful young adult Snowshoe Siamese mix who has completed her mom job. She came to a local shelter as a stray along with several kittens. She's a friendly girl, but we think that she is seeking a home without children. She does very well with the other cats and would probably hold her own with nice dogs. Manicotti is negative for feline leukemia and aids, current on her distemper and rabies vaccines, been wormed, had revolution for fleas, and been vet checked, spayed, and microchipped.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 (Land line) or hhfrey1@tds.net. We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Good with cats,
Story
CC came to us during a TNR operation, but as soon as we saw her, we knew she needed help. Not only was she tame, but her skin was also incredibly inflamed and scabby. After many vet visits, we determined that CC likely has a food allergy and needs to be on a special diet. She may occasionally need a steroid injection or antibiotics if her allergy acts up, but she'll reward you with endless purring and cuddles. CC is a sweet girl who enjoys other cats and all kinds of people. She's still healing up but is eager to find her forever home. And now that she's less embarrassed about her fur loss, we're sure she'll win someone over with her good looks too!

Story
We bought minka 3 years ago as a kitten, and we have had her since. Shes a very loving, small Siamese. I’ve since gone to college and my dad started a full time job. Due to this we aren’t able to be in the house with her as much as we used to. She started to bite her hair off as a result of stress from not seeing us. I want nothing more than to keep her but I don’t feel it’s fair to her. Looking for a loving home with no other pets (we’ve had only her and one other cat their whole lives). Preferably someone that has a lot of time to love on her. Thank youshe’s had shots and routine yearly vet visits. Once she started losing hair on her back we took her back in. The vet tested her and nothing was physically wrong to cause hair loss.
