Check out the adorable Alexa. Alexa is a precious 4-5 month old kitten. She came to the rescue from Laredo. She is named for her rescuer who found her behind Target. Alexa loves everybody! She enjoyed people, dogs (even big dogs) and other cats. Alexa loves to sleep on her human’s lap. Catnip toys provide her favorite entertainment. Kitty is a six year old Shaded Silver Persian. Kitty is an absolute love with the sweetest little personality. He literally melts when you pick him up and comes when he is called. He gets along very well with other cats. He is a flat faced boy and is high maintenance. His eyes must be cleaned daily. His coat is nice but will need regular grooming. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.

Cart came to us in April of 2023 ready to pop. She had 4 beautiful babies and did a wonderful job raising them and allowing her foster mom to help when she needed some mommy time. Since then 2 of her babies have left the nest and her other two are ready to do the same. She is a very sweet and calm gal. Meet Moxie Dewdrop. This gorgeous girl came into the rescue with her siblings after they were found outside on the mean streets where life is scary by a kind person. This girl is a Siamese with some Tabby markings. A very pretty combination of colors. Moxie (as she is called by her foster mom) is shy and would benefit from a forever home inhabited by patient and cat-savvy humans who give her time to settle in and feel safe and loved. She would do best with a cat buddy as she is very fond of other cats. She loves a good chin scratch and likes to watch the wildlife from a cat tree or window ledge. Also enjoys some quality lounging time in her comfy cat bed also known as the "hidey hole" bed. Meet Juniper! Miss Juniper has recently retired from being a mama and is ready to find a home of her own. She is going to need a special family that's willing to be patient with her to trust them. Juniper is very shy and is just now getting used to being around people. She needs a home that's going to be quiet without children.
