Meet GingerBread (male), Poundcake (male), ShortBread (male), Pretzel (male), Peanut (male), Minna (female), Minoo (female), and Moogie (female). These sweet babies, just 6 weeks old (as of 5.1.26) were born in our care on March 16th, after we rescued their mom from euthanasia. (This particular shelter euthanizes pregnant cats because it cheaper to euthanize than to spay them.) These babies are sweet, cuddly, and playful and are able to be preadopted in pairs now. They will be ready to go home on or after May 23rd. Please note: because it is healthier for the kittens well being, all kittens must be adopted in pairs.Peanut is a Flame Point Siamese mix with baby blue eyes. He is best friends with his sister Moogie. They sleep, play, and eat together and groom each other. They are bonded and need to be adopted together. Peanut's fur is very soft. with and orange tint on his ears and nose, and a striped tail. He has a loud purr motor and is very loving - even kissing you on the lips! Moogie is a dilute calico- mostly white but with colors of soft gray and light golds. She is very fast and hops like a rabbit when she gets excited. She also purrs loudly, like Peanut.Minna (female) is a calico that's mostly white and with colors of orange and black. She is super smart and adventurous. She loves to eat and has a great purr motor. She is very affectionate and loves to sit on you while you're watching tv. She loves everyone!Poundcake, an orange and white male tabby, is always ready to play. He is the largest ginger boy and has a ginger spot to the left of his nose. He loves to hang out with Pretzel. Pretzel is the biggest boy. He is also a Flame Point Siamese mix with beautiful blue eyes and orangish ears and nose. He loves attention and food, and is vocal. He loves to purr. Poundcake and Pretzel do everything together, so they will need to be adopted together. They are the biggest males and are oh-so-gentle with their siblings.  Minoo is a sweet little calico girl with colors of white, orange, and black. She is the first to try everything. She is silky soft and very smart. She will bravely climb up and sit on your shoulder. Minoo spends the most time with Poundcake and Pretzel.ShortBread (male) is light orange in color and was the smallest of his siblings but he is catching up! He has a gentle purr and loves to be held and interact with people. GingerBread is also an orange and white tabby boy. He likes to chase his tail if no one else is available. He loves to play with his sisters. He has a great purr motor and sometimes makes little baby lion sounds, unlike his siblings. He is affectionate and loves to be held. All kittens are playful and affectionate and must be adopted in pairs. Studies show that young kittens do better adopted together as it aids in social well being, health, and acclimation. All kittens are/will be dewormed, received an FVRCP vaccine and a booster, will receive a rabies vaccine at 4 months of age with their spay/neuter, will be combo tested, and will be microchipped with a lifetime registration. Please fill out a digital application here: https://www.jotform.com/form/221029453063044. When preadopting, once approved, you will be asked to leave a $25 deposit for each kitten you are adopting. The deposit will hold your kittens for you and will go towards the adoption fee of your kittens. The deposit will not be refundable if you do not adopt from us.May 23, 2026, 2:09 am

Story
Meet the ButterCup 7!  ButterCup came to us pregnant from a shelter that euthanizes pregnant cats rather than spay them because it is more cost efficient. Her 6 beautiful babies were born on March 29th, healthy, happy, and adorable. Please note that kittens must be adopted in pairs. There is a $55 discount when adopting 2.Clover (male) is a gray tabby with white face and paws and a little pink nose. He is our chonky boy, who is a lover not a fighter. His siblings love to tumble and play, and although he will participate, he would much rather be cuddled up next to mom. He’s definitely a mama’s boy. He gets concerned if he is taken too far away from her and will start to protest. He does love cuddling with humans as well. Clover loves to play with Lupine or SnapDragon. Clover will need to be adopted with ButterCup.Lupine (male) is a gray and white tabby with a bit of gray on the side of his nose. Lupine is a little shyer than his siblings but he says he’s just an introvert and needs his alone time because when you’re part of such a big litter that’s hard to get sometimes. He loves his mama but he also enjoys playing with his siblings and with people, especially if there’s a fun toy involved.Princess Peony (female) is a beautiful Lilac Point Siamese mix with pale gray fur and darker gray ears, nose, and tail. Princess P, as we call, her is an independent young lady with dreams of conquering the world and the passion to do it. She’s a sweet girl who loves playing with her brothers but can also entertain herself quite well.Snapdragon is a brown tabby boy. He is the smallest but one of the feistiest kittens in the bunch. He will absolutely bite his brother Clover on the rear end and tackle him and then cry wolf when Clover tackles him back. He often looks like he has big concerns, but really he just wants a good meal and a snuggle, pretty much in that order.Thistle (male) is a black and white tuxedo. Thistle was the smallest kitten when they were born and needed a little extra help to gain weight the first couple weeks, but boy has he made up for it! This funny and loving little guy is the first to the food bowl, but also the first to crawl up his foster mom’s shirt for a cuddle under her neck. He loves to play with his siblings But will definitely be off on an adventure if you turn your back!TigerLily is a sweet black kitten with a white crest on her chest. She is not one of ButterCup's kittens but was found with siblings when someone was clearing brush from a worksite. The lady that lived there did not want the kittens near her home so she sprayed tgem with a cleaning agent. TigerLily's siblings were given away before she came to us. She is very sweet and photogenic. She is being raised with ButterCup's kittens as they are the same age. We will post more on her personality as we get to know her.Trillium is a little boy. He is a gray tabby with a white face and a spot of brown on his nose. Trillium is a laid back dude with a love of exploring and cuddling. He will definitely venture into unknown territory if he is allowed, but then come back for lots of attention. He loves playing with his brother and sister, but also loves people and always one of the first to come running when his foster mom comes ito the room. All kittens are/will be dewormed, have a FVRCP vaccine and a booster, a rabies vaccine (when spayed/neutered at 4 months),combo tested, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Kittens will be ready to go home on or after June 1st. **Please note, they MUST be adopted in pairs.** Kittens adopted in pairs acclimate to a new environment easier, socialize better, and remain healthier than kittens adopted as singles. There is a $55 discount when adopting 2.  To fill out an application, please click here: https://www.jotform.com/form/221029453063044May 23, 2026, 2:09 am

Story
A woman found Mochi along with Niko and Miko huddled together in the backyard of a trailer park community being demolished off of Lafayette Blvd. Luckily, they were saved just before the freezing temperatures set in. We don't know if they are siblings or not but given their age and same location, we assume they are related. Like any kitten, Mochi loves to play and the preferred adopter would adopt another kitten along with Mochi or have a companion cat at home already to keep her company. To set up a Meet & Greet, call AdvoCats at 540-419-5335 or fill out our application on our website AdvocatsLife.org
