A woman found Mochi along with Niko and Miko huddled together in the backyard of a trailer park community being demolished off of Lafayette Blvd. Luckily, they were saved just before the freezing temperatures set in. We don't know if they are siblings or not but given their age and same location, we assume they are related. Like any kitten, Mochi loves to play and the preferred adopter would adopt another kitten along with Mochi or have a companion cat at home already to keep her company. I am a shy gorgeous siamese mix that came to the shelter as a stray with my single kitten. While I can be a little aloof I enjoy petting and enjoy the company of other cats. Won't you give me a home where I can blossom into the loving cat that I know I can be.

Rita was one of the kittens that arrived at our rescue, along with her littermates. Her mother is a bluepoint Siamese, but her father is not known. Rita and her sister Beauty were adopted together in 2017 and enjoyed a happy life with their owners. Unfortunately, when the owner's mother had to move in with them, she brought a larger dog with her which was not very friendly towards the cats. To ensure their safety, they were returned to the rescue. Rita is now 7years old and has adjusted well to life at the rescue. She loves to be petted on her terms and has a special affinity for men, likely due to growing up with male caregivers. She is current on all of her vaccines, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been microchipped and spayed. Rita is eager for a new beginning and a loving forever home.
