Story
Olive is a very sweet and lovable girl. She is very relaxed and loves to be around her people. She tends to be a little more nervous but once she warms up to you, she will be your best friend. We think olive would do best in a home with older children or adults. She’s kind towards younger children but they make her nervous. She has a very calm temperament and just loves to look outside and lounge around most of the day. We just want her to go to a good home where she will be loved and well taken care of.

These cats are in Hemet, California too!

FEBUARY 2026 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes, and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. FENDRAKE and several feline family members were saved from a horrific hoarding case in Riverside, California. We know they are all related because the horrible human woman, kept letting them mate. When the Rescue Mama found out she took action. As of FEBUARY 2026, 98 cats have either gone to other rescues or have been saved by us. You will know who these cats are by their names. They have all been named after the show "Once Upon A Time". Aside from the necklaces the kitties wear in their professional pictures, Rescue Mama names her rescue cats after shows she watches. Meet FENDRAKE: Your Shy but Playful Maine Coon Mix Companion! FENDRAKE is a stunning Maine Coon mix with a big heart, though it might take him a little time to warm up to new people. He’s larger than life in size, but his personality is a bit more reserved. FENDRAKE came to us from a heartbreaking situation—a hoarder’s home in Riverside, California, where he and his siblings were living outside in unsafe conditions. Despite his challenging past, FENDRAKE has shown incredible resilience and is ready for a fresh start with a patient, understanding adopter. FENDRAKE is the shyest of his siblings, but he’s also the most curious. He loves to watch the world around him from a safe distance and will often strike a pose for a picture or two. He’s a playful spirit at heart, enjoying interactive toys, gentle games, and finding creative ways to entertain himself. Though he’s not a fan of being touched, he does appreciate the presence of people and can often be found nearby, quietly observing. Due to his past experiences, FENDRAKE requires a special kind of adopter—one who understands that trust will take time. He’s not the type of cat who will immediately seek out attention or affection, but with patience, consistency, and respect for his boundaries, FENDRAKE will begin to open up in his own time. He’s looking for a quiet, calm home where he can feel safe and secure. A household with older children or adults who are familiar with shy cats would be ideal. A slower pace, where FENDRAKE has the space to grow and trust, will be key to helping him feel comfortable. Why Adopt FENDRAKE? FENDRAKE may take a little time to show his true colors, but once he feels comfortable and trusts you, you’ll discover an affectionate and playful companion. His love for people is evident, and though he may not seek cuddles just yet, he does enjoy your presence and will likely become more interactive as time goes on. If you have experience with shy cats and are looking for a pet to form a deeper, more meaningful bond with, FENDRAKE could be the perfect match for you. If you’re willing to give FENDRAKE the space, patience, and love he needs, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal friend who will surely make your life brighter. Adopt FENDRAKE Today! If you're ready to provide FENDRAKE with the forever home he deserves, reach out to us for more information about this sweet, shy boy. He’s looking for someone who will be as patient with him as he needs to adjust to his new life. With time and understanding, FENDRAKE will make a wonderful companion. Will you be the one to give him the love and care he deserves? FENDRAKE is a DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / MAINECOON MIX. He is 8 months old. He has lived with cats. He has never lived with children or dogs. **************** We will not do adoptions of kittens under 8 months to a home with no other YOUNG cat in the current home. Not a senior or older cat. She needs a cat playmate ***************** In FENDRAKE case he loves other cats. So he will need a friend...a young feline friend. Meet LORD MACHINTOSH: A Gentle Maine Coon Mix Looking for His Forever Friend LORD MACHINTOSH, a strikingly handsome Maine Coon mix, is a small bundle of curiosity and independence with a heart that's just waiting to be unlocked. He may not immediately run up to you for cuddles, but once you build that bond, this sweet boy is going to bring so much joy into your life. LORD MACHINTOSH is a little reserved at first—he’s the kind of cat who takes his time to warm up to new faces. But don’t let that fool you! He’s just being cautious as he navigates his new surroundings. While he might not be the first to jump into your lap, he will absolutely accept affection once trust is established. One of his favorite ways to bond with his humans is through the art of treats. Offering him a tasty snack is the perfect way to show him that you’re his ally, and it’s an easy way to earn his affection. He’ll gladly allow you to pet him while enjoying a yummy treat, and in time, you’ll see his guard come down as he realizes you’re not a threat, but a friend. Although he’s not one for constant cuddling or attention, LORD MACHINTOSH loves to engage in playtime, either by himself or with his cat friends. He’s an independent spirit who enjoys chasing after toys, climbing on scratching posts, and just generally having fun in his own way. He’s not a "velcro cat" who wants to stick by your side all day long, but he does appreciate a good, stimulating environment where he can be entertained and feel secure. LORD MACHINTOSH thrives in the company of other cats, and he would likely benefit from a calm, confident cat friend who could help him feel more comfortable in his new home. His ideal household would be one where his space is respected, but he still has the opportunity to interact and play with other feline companions. He’s so close to being someone’s friend—it’s just a matter of taking the time to understand his needs and earn his trust. While he may be a little shy at first, LORD MACHINTOSH is a cat that will gradually open up to those who respect his boundaries and show him patience. He’s looking for a home with a patient adopter who is willing to give him the space and time he needs to come out of his shell. Over time, you’ll be rewarded with a sweet and loyal companion who loves to play, relax, and enjoy life at his own pace. Are you the one who can help LORD MACHINTOSH take that final step to friendship? If you’re an experienced cat owner who understands the importance of allowing a cat to grow at their own pace, LORD MACHINTOSH could be the perfect addition to your family. He’s ready to find his forever home, where he can feel safe, loved, and finally become the friend he’s meant to be. Adopt LORD MACHINTOSH Today!
