Story
Hi, my name is Coco, and I'm a three-year-old cat. I'm very affectionate, and I like people and small dogs. My mom is looking for a new home for me because she can't take me with her when she moves. I'm an indoor cat; I've lived inside my whole life, and going outside scares me. You can bathe me; I'm good at it. At first, I resist a little, but in the end, I like the warm water. Maybe you've seen my pictures and think I'm not the same cat, but my mom trusted her friend to give me up for adoption, and she regrets it because she ruined my beautiful fur by cutting it and letting her cat bite and scratch me. Now I'm back with my mom, and she just wants a place full of love and attention for me.

Story
(San Antonio or Central Texas Adoption Only) 🌟 Meet Zoe — Our Maine Coon StarAge: 5 yearsBreed: Purebred Maine CoonGood with: DogsNot good with: Other catsIdeal Home: Quiet, calm, no small children, experienced cat handler or access to a mobile vetSome cats shine... but Zoe sparkles — just like her name. “Zoe” means life, and in astronomy there’s a “Zoe Zone,” a region in space warm and just right for supporting life. It’s the perfect name for a girl ready to begin a peaceful, love-filled new chapter. With her classic Maine Coon elegance, Zoe is everything this majestic breed is known for:🧡 Luxurious coat and regal ruff🧡 Tufted ears and striking whiskers🧡 Intelligent, observant nature🧡 Big soulful eyes full of quiet wisdomAt 5 years old, Zoe is calm, gentle, and bonds deeply with her people. She does wonderfully with dogs but prefers to be the only cat in the home. She also thrives best in a peaceful environment, so a no small children home is ideal.⚠️ A Note About Vet VisitsZoe is a bit of a prickly princess when it’s time for the vet. Getting her into a carrier can be challenging, so her ideal adopter will meet one of these:⭐ Has access to a mobile vet⭐ Has experience handling cats who dislike carriers⭐ Is patient and understands that she needs gentle, confident guidance during stressful momentsThis ensures Zoe stays healthy and stress-free while also keeping everyone safe.🌙 A Loyal, Quiet CompanionZoe is the kind of cat who:✨ Curls up beside you during quiet evenings✨ Follows you from room to room like a fluffy shadow✨ Finds the perfect sunny spot for afternoon naps✨ Bonds deeply once she knows she’s safeIf you’re looking for a majestic, intelligent, deeply loyal Maine Coon, Zoe is ready to be your universe.Thank you for considering adopting one of our kittens/cats.

Story
(Central Texas Adoption Only)Name: HalloweenieAge: 2 yearsGender: FemaleCoat: Fluffy with white feet, white belly, and a magnificent fluffy tailSpecial Needs: Daily brushing, experienced cat owner requiredAbout Halloweenie:Halloweenie is a beautiful 2-year-old with a soft, fluffy coat and adorable white feet and belly. She's got a stunning tail that adds to her charm, but her luxurious fur does require regular brushing to keep her looking her best.Halloweenie is extremely shy and will need a quiet, patient home where she can take her time to come out of her shell. She’s had a tough start to life as a street cat, so she’s understandably cautious around new people and environments. However, with time, patience, and understanding, Halloweenie has the potential to become a wonderful companion.Ideal Home:Halloweenie would thrive in a calm, stable environment with an experienced cat owner who understands the needs of shy, timid cats. She needs someone who will allow her to adjust at her own pace without forcing interactions. A home without young children or overly energetic pets would be best, as she can be easily startled. Why Adopt Halloweenie? If you’re an experienced cat person looking for a special, long-term project and you have the patience to let Halloweenie come to you on her terms, she will reward you with her quiet presence and gentle companionship. She’s not the type of cat to demand attention, but once she trusts you, you’ll find a loyal and loving friend in her.Are you the kind, understanding, and patient person Halloweenie has been waiting for? If so, she’s ready to start her new life with you!Thank you for considering adopting one of our kittens/cats.
