Story

Hope was rescued when he was around 3 weeks. He is the remaining survivor of his litter, unfortunately his other siblings were taken by wildlife as we found him close to a strip of a greenbelt area. It took 3 of us to get him as he was jumping through multiple engine blocks but we got him and he was smaller than an adult hand. He's been fostered since but we were already at capacity for cats. He's lived with 4 other indoor cats with all different personalities, with the occasional cat and dog visitors we get when helping friends for a weekend. He has started to calm down from his hyper kitten phase and entered into a playful and cuddly little man. He's great with kids and has learned to be gentler when playing with them. He will also ask for cuddles. He knows his name and will respond to being spoken to if you're trying to give him a direction. Nice as not all cats chose to give you their attention. He's around 1yr 10mons, eats dry/wet food and on PetLock Duo Flea treatment.

Meow Meow is a stray feral cat who I managed to capture, with her 5 kittens, where she is now flea-free, living the good life with plenty of food, toys, beds, cat tv, and is safe from the dangers of the outdoors. Meow Meow needs help getting adjusted to family life, which is understandable as she was feral when I took her in. However, she now will rub against my legs and really enjoys playing with the various toys, especially wand toys, and naps in the selection of cat beds and rugs. Meow Meow gets along well with my adult male cat, but is still learning to navigate a relationship with my female cat. I am at the limit for the number of pets I am allowed to have, which is why I am desperately seeking a loving home for Meow Meow. Seeing her play with toys enthusiastically for the first time was amazing. She is practically a kitten herself. With lots of patience and love, Meow Meow will come out of her shell completely. Please consider giving Meow Meow a chance at a happy life.

Ruru is a feral stray kitten I took in with her 4 siblings and mama cat about 3-4 months ago. She is light grey in color with stripes, as her mama is a brown tabby. Ruru is the smallest of the 5 kittens and was initially very clingy. She loves to cuddle, sleeps on the bed with me by my feet, enjoys playtime with the many cat toys, tunnels, beds and condos in my home. When she isn’t up to kitten shenanigans, she can often be found napping on various blankets, rugs and cat beds in the home. Ruru has been exposed to cat tv and is very agile as she jumps from my dining table onto my kitchen counter with grace and ease. Ruru is a terrible mooch always wanting human food, as are all her siblings. Ruru always looks like she just woke up from a nap. Ruru is a sweetheart who will bring a lot of personality and love to her new home. Please consider making her a part of your family. UPDATE: Ruru is at the Austin Animal Shelter. I have two young cats. They were getting along in our house great but recently are marking territory. We had an older dog that recently passed and got a bit cranky as well as kids. We treated for sti and tried several other alternatives but we believe the environment is not right for Granola here. Hoping to rehome them together since they are bonded and close to a loving home. Will provide all cat items we have with them. At minimum would love to find Granola the right home where she can be happy. Pretzel is a year and a half and so sweet (grey and white). She loves to be cuddled and loved on in the mornings and randomly throughout the day. Granola does not like as much attention but usually ends up sleeping by my feet. The two cats cuddle together and play.
