Siberian kittens & cats in Herndon, Virginia

-

Lucy is a calm, cuddly girl. She loves to sleep and be near people getting all the attention. Unfortunately our main help with our newborn is extremely allergic to cats and we can’t keep her.

Do you have room in your heart for a shy kitty who is looking for her happily ever after? Meet Candy! Originally from Kuwait, Candy was rescued from the streets after she was found struggling desperately to breathe. She was rushed to the veterinarian, where she spent an extended time in an oxygen cage. The vets discovered a large amount of fluid in her chest and, after testing, diagnosed her with chylothorax, a rare and challenging condition. After surgery she has made an incredible recovery and is 100% healthy and only needs to have a special low-fat diet, such as Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat or another veterinarian-approved equivalent.  Because of everything she's endured, Candy is very shy but also gentle and gives sweet little mews. All she needs is patience and a place to settle down! Can you give that to her? Candy is spayed and microchipped and ready for a forever home.  Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
