Story
Meet Buddy—a 3-year-old Silky Terrier mix who’s ready to become your one and only!Buddy isn’t just a dog—he’s an experience. He’s mastered the art of being wherever you are, whenever you’re there. Think velcro, but fuzzier and with a tail. If you’re moving, he’s moving. If you’re relaxing, he’s cuddling. If you’re leaving… well, he’ll be waiting patiently for your return, because life is just better with you in it.A few things to know about Buddy:Housebroken: 100%! He’ll even politely sit at the door when he needs a potty break.Leash-trained: Walks briskly and loves a good sniffari.Crate-trained: Buddy would rather not be crated and is much happier having free roam of the house.Friendly with cats and dogs: Cordial, but not playful (at least not yet). His heart belongs to his humans.Knows basic commands: Sit (both verbal and hand gesture) and responds well to his name.Behavior: No aggression here! Buddy may “mouth” your hand playfully (no teeth, just puppy enthusiasm), and sometimes jumps up in excitement.Needs regular grooming to keep his silky coat looking great.Buddy’s Favorite Things:Car ridesWalks and exploringSnuggling on soft beds or couchesBeing your constant shadowOnce a stray, now a star, Buddy has blossomed into a sweet, devoted companion who simply wants to be by your side. He’s ready for a forever home where he can be part of the action and share his endless affection (and excellent decorating skills with his toys). If you’re looking for a best friend who will love you unconditionally, Buddy is your guy. He’s waiting to meet you—ears perked, tail wagging, and heart wide open.If you’d like to take Buddy home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $350 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!

Say hello to Coco—a petite 9-pound Shih Tzu with a silky black coat, soulful eyes, and the sweetest little spirit you could ever hope to meet.At 10 years young, Coco is the picture of calm and charm. She’s polite, quiet, and content—truly the definition of an easygoing companion.Coco loves being around her humans, but she’s never pushy—she’ll come over for snuggles when she’s ready, and reward you with the warmest, most trusting little cuddle. She enjoys having a crate nearby where she can curl up and feel safe, especially if it`s in the same room as you.She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be happy to share her home with a calm canine friend. She’s also met children and does best with older or gentle kiddos who understand her need for a calm, quiet environment.Coco is happiest in a peaceful home where she can feel safe and adored. She thrives on routine, gentle voices, and soft places to land. Regular grooming will keep her coat soft and shiny—and she doesn’t mind a little pampering! If you`re looking for a loving, loyal little lady who will be your quiet shadow, your walking buddy, and your cuddle companion, Coco might just be your perfect match. If you’d like to take Coco home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. Story
Geoffrey is a distinguished gentleman in the 8–10-year-young range, weighing in at a cozy 25 pounds with the softest black-and-white fur you’ll want to pet all day. With his soulful eyes and gentle nature, Geoffrey is the kind of dog that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the little things—like a sunny spot on the couch or the perfect soft snack. He’s housebroken (and politely lets you know when it’s time for a potty break), walks well on a leash, and gets along great with both dogs and cats. He’s not particularly interested in chasing the cat—he may give a sniff or two and then promptly forget what he was doing and go back to napping.Geoffrey isn’t much for stairs (we’re working on it!) and he prefers to skip the crate altogether. He’s happiest curled up next to his person—especially if you`re handing out string cheese or chewy treats. He does have some arthritis and a heart murmur (doesn`t require medication), but he doesn’t let that get in the way of short strolls or sniffing around a fenced yard. His needs are simple: soft food, soft beds, and a soft place to land with someone who loves him. He’s not into high-energy lifestyles or hectic households. Geoffrey is looking for a calm, cozy home—ideally with someone retired or working from home—where he can be your loyal shadow and soft-eared confidant. He’s a little vocal when left alone, but quiet as can be once he knows you’re nearby. Although probably fine with gentle children, Geoffrey hasn`t been around kids under our care. Geoffrey is an old soul with a heart full of love and a serious talent for companionship. If you’re looking for a gentle, snuggly dog who’s past the puppy chaos but full of charm, Geoffrey might just be your guy.If you’d like to take Geoffrey home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. Story
Sasha was given to me as a gift with her sibling Ghost at 8 weeks old. The 3 of us have spent the last 8 years together and it has been lovely however she is in need of a new home ! She is the definition of a true lap dog ! She believes the purpose of her existence is to lay on your lap and be rubbed. Her most favorite thing in the world are cuddles ! She’s loves her brother but is slow to warm up to other dogs. She is energetic at times and loves to run around for a bit then come back for more cuddles. She enjoys car rides trips to the park but doesn’t like to get dirty. She will avoid dirt and mud at all costs. She has been with her brother ghost since birth and it would be great if able to adopt both dogs as they have never been separated. Please consider adding her to your home she will make a wonderful loyal sweet companion.
