Story
Hi - My name is Mylo and I am a new member of the AARF family. I am a Lhasa Apso mix, but because I am brand new to these parts, there's not much more known about me or my personality just yet. If you check back a little later, I'm sure my foster parents will have a lot more information to post about me. If you have any questions, though, feel free to send an email to info@animalalliesrescue.org.   or if you just think it's love at first sight, please fill out an adoption application at this site - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org and choose me - Mylo!My adoption fee is $150 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian, and we're up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus). We've been tested for heartworm and other tick borne diseases (4DX), and we've started our heartworm and flea preventive medications. Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Story
Emma is a 15 yr old Maltese mix. I am basically fostering Emma for my cousins who can no longer care for her. Because of personal financial reasons, I can no longer afford to care for Emma. Emma is pretty low maintenance. She rarely barks, is indifferent to people, other dogs/animals when outside the home. She is protective when strangers enter the home, but this means barking. I'm looking for someone experienced with caring for older dogs, preferably a household with 1-3 people.
