Story
Buttercup and her sister and brother, Bubbles and Brodie were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd this year so they are 8 months old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs just under 7 pounds and is probably full grown now. Buttercup is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little bossy but plays great with her brother and sister. we feel like she would be fine with other dogs after getting to know them but would always want to be the boss. She would be fine with older children and we are not sure about cats but the bossy part would be the same at first. Xandie is a tiny firecracker wrapped in fur.with maybe a little gremlin ancestry thrown in for extra spice. She is small, high energy, hilarious, and absolutely committed to keeping life interesting. Blink and she is doing something ridiculous. Laughing is not optional. Xandie does well with other dogs in her foster home, is house trained, and is currently negotiating a peace treaty with the crate and leash walking. Progress is happening. She would thrive with a fenced yard where she can run, zoom, burn off that spark plug energy, and then come back inside to plot her next comedic act. If you want a dog who keeps you on your toes, provides daily comic relief, and fills your life with nonstop joy and laughter, this little girl is it. Calm homes need not apply. Fun homes encouraged. Adoption fee is $400 and covers spay, microchip, parasite prevention, and vaccines.

Meet the cutest little guy around! He is a compact ball of love and we call him our "Walmart Greeter". Carson's person died a couple of years ago and he is needing a new home. Carson is a happy little guy who loves everyone and gets along great with other dogs. Carson is playful, housebroken, snuggly, likes to play with toys and would love a family to call his own again. This little guy is part Shih Tzu part.... Bassett?? A short, stocky little man for sure. Don't let those little legs fool you though, he likes to run and play with the big dogs. Carson is housebroken, so the hard work is done for you! He is an adult with a lot of life left! Let him snuggle up to you and you can heal his little heart.
