Current Location: Foster Home in Washington,DC Meet Cricket, a 14-lb Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with a heart of gold. After a very difficult few months, Cricket is finally safe in foster care and looking for the love he truly deserves. He is a calm, quiet boy who may take a moment to trust, but once he knows you’re his person, his loyalty is unmatched. Cricket isn’t a "high-energy" pup; he’s a professional snuggler who just wants to feel safe. He has been through a lot recently and is looking for a patient home where he can finally relax and be the sweet boy he was always meant to be. Personality: Calm, shy, and incredibly sweet. Dog Friends: He is great with other dogs and finds comfort in their company! Home Life: Because he’s a sensitive guy, he’s looking for a quiet home. He finds the energy of small children a bit overwhelming, so an adult-only home or one with older kids would be best.
