Meet Rizzo! PLEASE NOTE: Contact Amanda at 619-347-1149 or Shirley at 619-987-8274. ARRF does not have a shelter, and this dog is from another rescue. Do not call ARRF. Thank you. Rizzo is a beautiful three-month-old female Fox Terrier mix who was rescued locally. She is one of the sweetest girls. She has a loving temperament towards people and is very playful with other dogs. She is calm, quiet, inquisitive and ready for fun. Rizzo has been wormed, and is up-to-date with her Distemper/Parvo shots. She is house trained and weighs about 10 lbs. Please contact Amanda at (619) 347-1149 or Shirley at (619) 987-8274 to meet this sweet girl. Rizzo's rehoming fee is $100. Thank you for your interest in helping a rescued dog.

He is one of the sweetest boys. He has a loving temperament towards people and is very playful with other dogs. He is calm, quiet, inquisitive and ready for fun. He is good on a leash and crate trained. Good with kids, he is also good with cats and other dogs. Benjamin is house-trained, weighs about 10 lbs., has been wormed, and is up-to-date with his Distemper/Parvo shots. He will probably weigh about 25 lbs. when fully grown. This 1.5-year-old, 6.5-lb Jack Russell Terrier mix is a whole lot of happy packed into a tiny body. Affectionately nicknamed “Screwball” for his goofy personality and endless energy, Snowball is equal parts hilarious, affectionate, and wildly entertaining. He brings the kind of joy to a room that makes you wonder how you ever lived without him. But behind his bright spirit is a story of resilience. Snowball came to us in December 2024 as a frightened little stray, unsure of people and the world around him. With time, love, and a safe place to land, he transformed into the bold, playful, and endlessly curious pup he was always meant to be. Now, he’s more than ready to bring that same joy to a forever family of his own. Snowball is still a young guy with puppy-like tendencies, so he’ll need continued guidance, structure, and positive reinforcement training. But he is so eager to please and highly trainable—this is a dog who wants to get it right and just needs someone willing to show him how. As a likely Jack Russell mix, Snowball is smart, feisty, and full of zest. He needs a home that understands small dogs with big personalities and is ready to embrace all the fun (and chaos) that can come with them.
