Meet Benjamin! He is Affectionate, Curious, Friendly, Funny, Loves, Playful, Smart, Independent! PLEASE NOTE: Contact Amanda at 619-347-1149 or Shirley at 619-987-8274. ARRF does not have a shelter, and this dog is from another rescue. Do not call ARRF. Thank you. Benjamin is a handsome seven-month-old male Fox Terrier mix who was rescued locally. He is one of the sweetest boys. He has a loving temperament towards people and is very playful with other dogs. He is calm, quiet, inquisitive and ready for fun. He is good on a leash and crate trained. Good with kids, he is also good with cats and other dogs. Benjamin is house-trained, weighs about 20 lbs., has been wormed, and is up-to-date with his Distemper/Parvo shots. He will probably weigh about 25 lbs. when fully grown. Story
It will be all oh-kai! Hi there! My name is Kai, and I’m a 4-year-old, 43-pound spayed Terrier mix. I was scooped up in Rosario, Mexico, where I was found underweight and living on the streets. I’ve come a long way since then and am ready to find my furever home! I’m a total sweetheart once you’ve earned my trust. I’ll then be your best friend and will be excited every time we see each other! I’m a high-energy gal, and I enjoy being your running buddy on runs through the neighborhood. My other favorite activities include chasing my Chuckit! ball, eating, playing tug-o-war, and sniffing for treats. I’m now fully potty-trained and crate-trained. Leash training is a work in progress, though, since I tend to pull a lot. My biggest challenge, however, is my stranger danger. I tend to become anxious and on high alert once I get outside of my comfort zone. No separation anxiety here, though, especially when I’m left behind with another doggie friend to play with. My ideal household would be a quieter home that had familiar people coming in and out. I’d love a nice backyard to play in, and I’d do just fine as either the only dog or with a well-rounded, confident doggie sibling. No kitties or children, please.  Other than that, a lot of patience and love will help me become my best self! We got Roscoe on the side of the road from another owner while he was only 7 weeks old. He is currently 3 years old, and amazing and energetic dog and loves to play. He loves the park and beach. He does super well inside home and trained the basics and also potty trained as well. Unfortunately we can’t give him the attention we once did now that we have a child and would love for him to be in a home where he can get the constant love and attention he deserves
