Hi, my name is Waylon James. I am a distinguished Smooth Fox Terrier mix with a goofy side. I am around 4 years old and spent most of my life with one family. Unfortunately, their life circumstances changed and they had to move on without me. At first, I was scared, but once I found the right foster home, I felt comfortable enough to be myself again. I have a lot of energy and love running zoomies in the yard, jumping obstacle courses and fetching. But so far, my favorite thing to do is to chase the remote-control car and see who can move faster! Because I am a kid at heart, I don’t do very well around other young kids because I forget I am not one of them and get too excited. However, I also have a calm, cuddly side that loves nothing more than to snuggle next to my foster mom in the couch, be picked up in her arms like a baby, or just retreat into my crate when I want to take a midday nap with my chewy toys. I am a bit shy when I first meet a new person, but play with me for a couple of hours and I will be your best friend. I am still working on walking a straight path on the leash, but I’m already doing so much better! I ve four dogs that are looking for loving homes. The oldest is the father. He’s all white with brown spots and was told he’s a Fox Terrier. He’s calm, quiet, and keeps to himself most of the time. He’s a little like an old man but still has a playful spark. The mom is black and white and is a Miniature Pinscher. She is very sweet, full of energy, and needs someone active who can give her attention. She loves to be close, lay under you, and give kisses. She’s very clingy and affectionate. Hi, I am looking for a home for Mizzie. She has been with me for 4 years now, and has been the best addition to my home here in Georgia the entire time. She’s full of love and energy. She’s very clever and loves to play. She is house trained and also trained on and off leash when walking outside. Mizzie is probably the smartest dog I ever encountered. She understands everything said to her, it’s amazing. I wish I could bring her where I am moving to but unfortunately I cannot have pets there and I am running out of time finding her a home. Elvis (dog version!) is a very special, loving dog but I am leaving for military training at the end of March and will unfortunately need to find him a new home. Personality (good with children, other dogs, and cats; leash/crate trained; knows commands; housebroken; separation anxiety, etc.). Very gentle and loving. Good with people and loves kids. I've had a smaller dog he also gets along and plays with. Good with other dogs too and every once in a while he could bark at another dog but no aggression at all. Knows basic commands (sit, come back etc) and leash and bathroom trained (I have a backyard and a doggy door). Does fine on his own during the day but he is curious and being 70 pounds he can climb a smaller fence and want to explore. He wasn't really put in a crate since he's bigger and was potty trained.
