Story
      Hi, my name is Waylon James. I am a distinguished Smooth Fox Terrier mix with a goofy side. I am around 4 years old and spent most of my life with one family. Unfortunately, their life circumstances changed and they had to move on without me. At first, I was scared, but once I found the right foster home, I felt comfortable enough to be myself again. I have a lot of energy and love running zoomies in the yard, jumping obstacle courses and fetching. But so far, my favorite thing to do is to chase the remote-control car and see who can move faster! Because I am a kid at heart, I don’t do very well around other young kids because I forget I am not one of them and get too excited. However, I also have a calm, cuddly side that loves nothing more than to snuggle next to my foster mom in the couch, be picked up in her arms like a baby, or just retreat into my crate when I want to take a midday nap with my chewy toys.  I am a bit shy when I first meet a new person, but play with me for a couple of hours and I will be your best friend. I am still working on walking a straight path on the leash, but I’m already doing so much better!  If you are looking for a medium/light adventure buddy with a curious spirit, please consider becoming my furever home!  Much wags! Quinoa came to us from a local shelter with a ton of energy, and she has settled beautifully into rescue life, learning just how good things can be. Quinoa is potty trained, crate trained, and can walk on a leash—she is super friendly! However, she has not been tested with dogs or kids just yet. With her lively spirit, Quinoa would make an excellent running partner! If you’re looking for a small, sweet companion who just wants to feel safe and loved, Quinoa could be your perfect match.She will need to be spayed, but can go home today. Story
Pickles is 9-10 months old and weighing in at about 17-20 lbs. We think he will be about 20-25 lbs full grown.  He is a handsome guy with just a slight bit of scruffiness. Best guess Scruffy Terrier mix. Pickles came to rescue along with his brother, sister, mom and 2 uncles. He was only 2 months old when he came to rescue as part of a hoarding case.  He was adopted out as a young puppy but came back to rescue when his family had to move in with thier family and Pickles was not invited. He has enjoyed his time back in rescue playing with the other puppies. He can be a little reserved at first, but warms up nicely. We do think that he would do better with another dog in the next home to show him the ropes as he is still building confidence.  He is crate trained, house trained and walks okay on leash ( it's a new skill), We would love for him to have a fenced in yard to play and potty. He is treat motivated which has helped with training.  Pickles would do well with a family that will take some time to let his adjust to his new surrounding and train him with positive reinforcement (and lots of treats).   Adoption fee $300 includes spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and microchipped, To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic ##2470191##
