Story
      Hi, my name is Waylon James. I am a distinguished Smooth Fox Terrier mix with a goofy side. I am around 4 years old and spent most of my life with one family. Unfortunately, their life circumstances changed and they had to move on without me. At first, I was scared, but once I found the right foster home, I felt comfortable enough to be myself again. I have a lot of energy and love running zoomies in the yard, jumping obstacle courses and fetching. But so far, my favorite thing to do is to chase the remote-control car and see who can move faster! Because I am a kid at heart, I don’t do very well around other young kids because I forget I am not one of them and get too excited. However, I also have a calm, cuddly side that loves nothing more than to snuggle next to my foster mom in the couch, be picked up in her arms like a baby, or just retreat into my crate when I want to take a midday nap with my chewy toys.  I am a bit shy when I first meet a new person, but play with me for a couple of hours and I will be your best friend. I am still working on walking a straight path on the leash, but I’m already doing so much better!  If you are looking for a medium/light adventure buddy with a curious spirit, please consider becoming my furever home!  Much wags! Story
I got Roxy three years ago, and she is currently 4 years old. She is a Jack Russell Terrier Pit Bull mix. She loves her walks, toys, snacks, and long naps throughout the day. Roxy has a fun-loving personality, so she needs someone who will play with her and enjoy her energy. She has a trauma/trigger spot on the top of her head, and if someone unfamiliar gets too close to her face and touches that area, she may bite. In the three years I've had her, she has only bitten me once. Now that she's comfortable and feels safe, it hasn't happened since. Due to her trauma, it's important that she receives love and patience at her new home. Roxy needs someone who pays attention to her boundaries and gives her time to settle in. When she feels safe, she opens up and shows her sweetest, most loving side!

Story
Joy is a dog that my 19 year old's girlfriend is trying to save from going to the pound. Apparently, someone she knew, had the dog and when the owner was going to take Joy to the pound, my 19 year old's girlfriend stepped in and started having her friends foster. She thought she had someone who was going to take Joy but that fell through. I have 3 pound puppies of my own but told my 19 year old and his girlfriend that they could keep Joy at my house while they looked for a forever home but that she could only stay up to just before Thanksgiving as I can't afford to board 4 dogs while I go out of town. Unfortunately, neither my 19 year old, his girlfriend or I (including some of my friends) have been able to find a home for Joy.
