Meet Salsa 🐾 Salsa is a great dog with a very sweet personality. He’s still a young pup, but he listens well for his age and has been a joy to have around. He really likes his crate and sleeps in it at night. He also doesn’t spend much time alone in the house. Salsa enjoys being outside, but he’s a hot-natured pup and usually wants to come back inside pretty quickly. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly—especially if you have treats or food! He is not aggressive in any way and has grown up with another dog, so he is very comfortable around other dogs and loves to play. Salsa is a sweet, playful young dog who would do best with someone willing to continue giving him the attention, patience, and training he needs as he grows. ❤️ Sadly I’ve developed allergies to him that have prevented me from spending the time with him he deserves.

Story
Bio UPDATE: after several months in a foster home, Opie is doing fantastic! He is loving, sweet, fun, and a goofball with a heart of gold! His favorite things are walks (before it gets too hot…not a fan of the heat (must be the St. Bernard!)) and playing with other dogs of all sizes. He is housetrained and crate-trained. Original info below is still accurate. Opie needs patience and time to be himself. A fenced yard and at least one other balanced dog in the household are musts. But the reward in watching this sweet boy grow and being able to develop a bond with him is priceless and a privilege. With new people and new environments, he does take his time but now you can literally see his curiosity and that he wants to be included. He recently stayed with another foster while his foster family went out of town, and he came out of his shell much quicker and easier than when he first left the shelter. That foster mom says of Opie he is a “gentle giant” (giant is a relative term though…he is around 50 pounds, which to his foster family is not giant at all ??) and that she loved watching him gallop across her yard and skip like a pony with his long, lanky legs trying to engage her little dog in play. Opie is a joy and the only reason his foster family has not adopted him is it would inhibit their ability to take on more fosters. He is very loved and, if given a chance, very loving.I AM CURRENTLY IN FOSTER!Hi, I’m Orpheus — but my foster family calls me Opie.I’m a sweet, gentle boy with a soft heart and a story that’s still unfolding. While I can be a little shy when meeting new people, I’ve been making beautiful progress in my foster home every day.I absolutely love other dogs — especially my foster sister, who helps me feel safe and brings out my playful side. Having a confident canine friend in my forever home will be really important for helping me continue to grow. With the people I trust, I’m becoming more and more affectionate. I now seek out my foster mom for comfort and companionship, and those quiet moments together are my favorite. I’m also fully housebroken and have been doing great on my leashed walks — I really enjoy getting out and exploring the world at my own pace.I can still be sensitive to new environments, loud noises, or too much going on at once, so I’ll need a calm, patient home that understands I may take a little time to settle in. I do best with gentle energy, predictable routines, and people who l

Story
,Ninja is a very smart boy, full of energy, and love. He is a jumping jelly bean and just wants love. He is house trained. He gets along great with other dogs for the most part, but will need to be neutered if planning on having him in the same space as another male dog he has not grown up with socially. He is very intelligent, he watches us so he can figure out how to get through our gates or his kennel. He is the escape artist that tried to teach the other puppies. He just needs a better home full of love, attention, time, and space to run and play and be comfortable. He is up to date on vaccines except his rabies and yearly booster. He just loves to be loved & needs someone who can dedicate a good bit of time to him. would likely thrive with active teenagers, a fenced in yard to run, & a playmate, would most likely need to be female or smaller than him. Ninja is allergic to bug sprays and cleaners he can't be in the same room or near anywhere where bug spray was sprayed.
