Story
We adopted Cissy in 2021 at a year and a half. She’s a sweet dog but is uncomfortable around children. Our family is too big for her and she is anxious when we have family gatherings with children. It’s impacting whether our grandchildren want to come or visit or not. She has been trained, she comes when called. She is loving in a small group. But gets anxious if she’s around children. She is about 107 pounds so she is on the small side for a St. Bernard. My vet and the trainer believes that she is full bred but we have not done a test at her. I think she would be a great dog in a small household that does not have small children.

Story
Barbie is a sweet and loving Anatolian Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur Mix. She&#39s estimated to be 3yr old, and weighs 50lbs. Barbie is great with other dogs - she is friendly but also respectful. She quickly adapts to other dogs&#39 play styles and is more submissive in nature. Barbie is house broken, is working on her crate training, and has good leash manners. She already knows her basic commands, and regularly plops over when you ask her to sit so she can receive belly rubs! She has a medium energy level, she enjoys doing a few zoomies but will happily hang out with you and chill. Barbie is a very loving and loyal girl who will make a wonderful addition to a family! She can be a little timid when first meeting people but is quick to warm up and trust you. She adores her humans, and thrives off affection she receives. Barbie would love to have another playful pup in her forever home, but this is not a requirement. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting Barbie, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.April 21, 2024, 3:44 pm
