Story
We adopted Cissy in 2021 at a year and a half. She’s a sweet dog but is uncomfortable around children. Our family is too big for her and she is anxious when we have family gatherings with children. It’s impacting whether our grandchildren want to come or visit or not. She has been trained, she comes when called. She is loving in a small group. But gets anxious if she’s around children. She is about 107 pounds so she is on the small side for a St. Bernard. My vet and the trainer believes that she is full bred but we have not done a test at her. I think she would be a great dog in a small household that does not have small children.

Story
Just like 'the voice', Frank, I have had quite the life. (Although I hear his may have been a bit more glamorous) See, it's been a long, long time since I had a home to call my own. I was found as a stray, walking around as a stranger in the night and in horrible condition. The type of condition that when the nice people at Adopt a Golden Atlanta saw me, they couldn't even tell what breed of dog I was. They knew I was a large dog, with very little fur and skin and bones, but that is it. I sure am glad they saw me and came to my rescue anyways. That was the moment my life changed and they promised me the best is yet to come. And boy were they right! I'm in great shape now and quite handsome if I do say so myself! My dashing good looks and tall stature draw a lot of attention and looks out in public and I eat it all up! I love to be with my people, so I am looking for a forever home with someone home a lot. I'm named after the Sultan of Swoon so it only makes sense that I'm a big lover as well. I will admit, sometimes things left on the counter are too much of a temptation and I help myself. But that's life, right? I also do prefer to only have humans as my companions at home because I like it my way. I am fine with other dogs outside of the home, but prefer all the attention on just me in the home. I get a kick out of you playing with me and I love my stuffies. A fenced yard would be wonderful to sit outside and feel the summer wind as well. Everybody loves somebody and now is my turn! I'd love to meet you and woo you with my charm, dreamy eyes and loving personality! Everybody loves somebody and now is my turn! "It's hard, you will find, to be narrow of mind, if you're young at heart."
