They’ve been each other’s familiar comfort in a loud, overwhelming place… and now Tank is at risk of losing everything. Tank is a St. Bernard mix with a big frame and an even bigger heart. He is: 🐾 Very sweet 🐾 Dog-friendly 🐾 Affectionate and enjoys pets 🐾 Walks well on a leash He’s not causing problems. He’s not aggressive. He’s just a gentle boy trying to be brave. When you pet him, he softens. When you talk to him, he listens. He wants connection. He and Tonka have already lost their home. Now they are facing the unthinkable — euthanasia simply because the shelter is overcrowded. Tank deserves a couch. A yard. He arrived with his twin, Tank, and now both boys are at risk. Tonka is: 🐾 Very sweet and affectionate 🐾 Dog-friendly 🐾 Walks well on a leash 🐾 Gentle and easy to handle He leans into pets. He looks up at you with those soft eyes like he’s trying to understand why he’s here. He doesn’t cause trouble. He doesn’t make noise. He just waits. Tank came in with him — his familiar face in a scary place. We don’t know their full story, but we know they’ve already lost whatever home they had. Now they are facing something even worse. They deserve safety. They deserve kindness. They deserve a chance. These are good boys in an impossible situation. He had a rough start to life, but you wouldn't know it when meeting him. He is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves people and gets very excited to greet you whether you are gone all day or just 5 minutes. He is a high energy boy who would love to play in the yard or go for walks and hikes(but is not opposed to snuggling on the couch with a good bone) Butch would do well with older dog savvy children and with slow introductions he is also good with dogs. He has met cats and will chase if they run. He is 100% crate and house trained and working hard on his manners so he can be the best boy for his new family. Butch is utd on his vaccines, neutered, and chipped. Butch may look just like a St. Bernard, but he’s only about 65 pounds. The perfect size for any household.
