  Lower Fees!  This lovely lady named Ivy, one of our Hope dogs, possesses a truly sweet nature. A 7-month-old, 57-pound St. Bernard mix, she is more than happy to offer hugs, kisses, and cuddles. While she enjoys the company of humans, she also appreciates moments of solitude. She loves playtime in the yard with other dogs. The more friends the better for this girl! Although she is still mastering the art of walking on a leash, she is a quick learner and is enthusiastic about acquiring new skills. She keeps a very tidy kennel and even has two roommates.  Do you have room in your family for a 57lb pup? ** FOSTER UPDATE ** Here's what Simnba's foster family has to say about him: "Simba is just perfect!! He is sooo big and strong but so gentle. He loves to snuggle and sleep on the bed which is the best. Very low maintenance, very curious about everything! He likes going out on our deck and sitting in the sun & cool air. He has done very well meeting new friends. He is recovering from kennel cough so we haven’t met any other doggies so far. He is curious when he sees them in passing, but has shown no frustration or aggression towards them. We love Simba!!" ✨Meet Simba!✨ Simba came to us as a transfer from another shelter, after being surrendered by his previous family due to not being able to afford to feed him. Simba is a 5 year old Saint Bernard mixed breed who is very sweet! He is nervous and shy at first, so we do best in a home without young children, but is slowly learning he is safe. He is a talker! Simba will require a family up to the task of providing him the physical and mental exercise and training that all dogs require, and is prepared to have an XL dog in their life. Apollo is a 5 year old Saint Bernard mixed breed who is as sweet as he is big! He is hesitant when first meeting new people, but then this is normal sweet and goofy self when he feels comfortable! He sweet with other dogs, and even chickens! Apollo will require a family up to the task of providing him the physical and mental exercise and training that all dogs require. This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 110 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up-to-date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides. Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat. But his favorite is Good Boy Charlie❤️" This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet!
