Story
Hey, I'm Boog — a magnificent 125-pound Saint Bernard who's as lovable as they come! 🐕 I'm a gentle giant with a heart full of sweetness, though I'll be honest: I'm still learning my manners and leash skills, so I'll need an experienced handler and an adult-only home (teenagers are okay too!). I'm a total attention hog and couch potato who loves to snuggle, play, and chat — yes, I sing! — and I do best as your one and only dog, without cats around. I'll require regular grooming to keep my beautiful coat in check, and my adoption fee is $400, but trust me, the love and goofy adventures I'll bring are worth every penny. Come meet me and see if we're a match made in heaven! ❤️ 📍 The Center for Animal Health and Welfare PA Kennel License #02941 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042

Story
I have had Bear for 5 years, since he was 9 months old. He has always been a wonderful companion. Very sweet. Unfortunately, he is also defiant and reactive. Sometimes he growls at people who get too close to him. He is also suspicious of strangers who want to touch him. He never had any biting issues until the past year. First, he was in a boarding facility and snapped at a technician who tried to sit with him. Then more recently he bit my girlfriend in our home. 95% of the time is wonderful, but I can no longer tolerate the risk of the other 5%. He needs someone who is caring, patient, and experienced with reactive dogs.

Story
This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 121 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up to date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence, and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He also has an obsession with deer! For that reason, a privacy fence would be ideal if you have deer around your home. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides". Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat. But his favorite is Good Boy Charlie❤️" This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet! Story
Chiffon is incredibly loving and remarkably smart. She has so much potential just waiting to be discovered. At almost one year old, she is at such a wonderful point in her life: young enough to learn, adapt, and grow, but old enough that her personality is beginning to shine through. She is just about finished growing and is on the larger side of medium. The right family could really help Chiffon blossom. She doesn't need someone looking for a perfectly finished dog. She needs someone who will see what she can become and enjoy being part of that journey. With consistency, guidance, patience, and love, there is so much you could teach this girl—and so much she could give back. We can picture Chiffon learning the rhythm of family life, going for walks with her people, discovering new places, soaking up attention, and eventually wondering how she ever lived without a family of her own. Her intelligence and genetics give her an incredible foundation, but the love and guidance of the right person could help turn that potential into something truly wonderful. Chiffon has already been given a good start. Now she needs someone willing to take the next step with her. Someone who will invest in her. Someone who will give her that one-on-one connection she hasn't yet experienced. Someone who will enjoy watching her learn, grow, and become the amazing companion we believe she is meant to be. And in return, you may get something pretty extraordinary—a smart, loving, loyal dog who has all the makings of an incredible family member. Chiffon's future is just beginning, and the right family could make all the difference in the world. ❤️    Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 2, 2026, 12:57 pm
