Story
Meet Jelly Donut, a charismatic, goofy 130-pound gentle giant who genuinely believes he fits perfectly in your lap! This fun-loving gentleman is as bright and observant as he is hilarious. His signature move? Conning you into a game of fetch—he’ll happily watch you throw the ball, fake a run, and then sit back to watch you go retrieve it. Jelly Donut brings pure joy wherever he goes, whether he’s doing enthusiastic backyard zoomies, relaxing on a sunny brewery patio, or embarking on epic "sniff-safaris" on leisurely neighborhood walks. When he gets super excited to play and engage, his inner puppy comes out with a few happy hops, but at his core, he’s a massive cuddle bug who just wants to soak up all the pets you can offer. He’s a big fan of squeaky toys, Kongs, cheese, people-watching, and taking long, glorious naps after a good enrichment session. Research shows that giant-breed dogs bring unmatched companionship and grounding energy to a household. If you’re looking for a larger-than-life character to make you laugh every single day, come meet Jelly Donut—he’s ready to steal your heart (and your spot on the couch)!

Age: 8 He is Fixed Located: Round Rock, TX Up to date on all vaccines. Good in house Low Energy Vet visited went great today 6/8/2026 Great Car rider 🚘 Good with dogs Great with kids of all ages Unknown with cats You will receive everything I purchased for Bo including his dog bed and some other items. Bo was adopted from Wilco Animal Shelter. I adopted him after his owner who loved and cherished him passed away unexpectedly. He was in the shelter for months before I fostered him. Bo is an absolute gentle giant great with kids very patient and loving. He would make a great emotional support companion. He loves the water and would be great for a family or elderly couple. He is not high energy and usually likes to sleep, cuddle and go on slow walks. He is very obedient and does not jump on furniture (unless explicitly instructed) he loves checking on his people. It pains me to even try to Rehome him because of how awesome he is. My apartment lease is now making it hard.

Story
Stepping out of the quiet corners and into a brighter spotlight, Shytown is a lovely girl whose name perfectly reflects her tender, introspective nature. Like someone visiting a big, bustling city for the very first time, she can feel a bit overwhelmed by the loud noises and fast pace of the shelter environment. Instead of jumping right into the center of the action, she prefers to navigate her surroundings thoughtfully, taking her time to assess things from a safe distance before making her move. Beneath her initial reserve lies an incredibly sweet, friendly soul who is deeply interested in human attention. When people offer a slow, gentle approach, her hesitation melts away, and she will slowly come right over to hang out directly by your side. She thoroughly enjoys simple moments of connection, happily leaning in to receive comforting butt and ear scratches or stretching out her neck to explore with curious sniffs. This affectionate girl loves to express her gratitude with gentle kisses, and she is highly motivated by tasty treats, showing an extra-special fondness for delicious pieces of cheese. A peaceful sanctuary away from the crowded kennel life is exactly what this gentle spirit needs to build up her confidence and feel completely secure. Finding a quiet routine will allow her to leave her worried shell behind and fully share her loving heart. You can help Shytown find her perfect stride and welcome a devoted companion into your life by reaching out to connect with her today.

Ikat

Austin, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ikat is a spunky Anatolian Shepherd/Lab mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for life. He’s the kind of dog who knows how to have fun—whether that’s chasing squirrels with enthusiasm, fetching his favorite ball, splashing around in the water, or stretching out in the sun for a perfect afternoon nap. This handsome guy is as smart as he is playful. Ikat is both house-trained and crate trained, and he comes loaded with an impressive list of tricks: sit pretty, down dog (yes, yogis—he’s got you covered), dab, spin, roll over, drop it, wait, leave it, and even “take it politely” for gentle treat-taking. He loves learning and thrives when he gets to show off just how clever he is. At home, Ikat is a really cool, easy companion who settles in nicely and enjoys being near his people. He would do best in a calm, adult home, as he can feel nervous around children. While he can tolerate other dogs for short periods, Ikat would truly shine as the only pet—where he can soak up all the love, attention, and one-on-one time without any pressure or competition. Ikat is looking for someone who appreciates a dog with personality, intelligence, and a playful spirit. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, laughs, and a best friend who’s always ready for the next adventure—or the next sunny spot in the yard.
