Message for details:This pet is available for adoption in a foster home. To adopt them, please email us at SDCadoptions@sdhumane.org and provide a good callback number. How this pet arrived: Floppy was brought in by a our Humane Law Enforcement. Floppy has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is now ready for his new home! Maybe that home could be your home?? Why Floppy might be the one for you:Floppy is the embodiment of friendliness, always eager to greet everyone with a wagging tail. Floppy would do best in a home with no other pets. Floppy is best in a calm and consistent environment. Chaos and lots of people around are not his thing. Give him a yard for playing with his toys and/or lots of walks through his quiet neighborhood and Floppy is happiest. Floppy's love for treats makes him a quick learner for new tricks and manners. His friendly nature and eagerness to learn make him a wonderful companion. Floppy even enjoyed a special spa day with famous groomer Gabriel Feitosa and was a superstar in the bathtub! Want to learn more? Reach out to the email address listed above! He hopes that he will go home with you. This shelter stuff is OK, but a home is where he wants to be. Might that be your home? Story
*This is courtesy listing.* Bambi is a 6-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is looking for a forever home. At 120 pounds, she's a sweet gentle giant with so much love to give. After her owner became homeless, Bambi went to live in what was intended to be a temporary foster situation, but six months have passed, and she desperately needs a permanent, loving home. Ideal Home: Bambi would do best in a home without children due to her size, and she would prefer to be the only pet. While she gets along well with the dog she grew up with, Bambi can be bossy around other dogs and has had some past issues with altercations during playtime. Bambi would thrive in an environment where she can be at the center of her family's life and spoiled with attention, affection, and ample space! What Bambi Loves: * Water: Bambi loves water! Splashing around in a baby pool is her favorite pastime. * Comfort: She enjoys beds, blankets, and towels, often carrying them around with her. * Snuggling: Bambi is a cuddle monster who loves to sleep next to you-though be warned, she's a bed hog! * Helping Out: Bambi is a gentle helper-she's been known to assist with household chores, including helping her former owner's 80 year old mother-in-law with laundry! This sweet girl deserves more than what life has dealt her. Bambi is ready to give her whole heart to someone who can give her the love and attention she deserves. She's waiting for her chance to shine in a forever home! If you are interested in adopting Bambi, please contact Michelle at 619-368-2181. *FFF has not assessed this dog medically or behaviorally.*

Story
Where did you acquire your pet? I adopted Teo from the Passion4Pitties organization in San Diego, back in 2020. This organization ensures that their foster dogs go to good homes, and are medically treated (micro-chipping, vaccinations, spay/neuter). --- How old is your pet? Teo is about 4.5 years old, he was born around June 2019. --- What are you looking for in a new home? Teo is a very active dog, and wanting more than I can provide to him right now. He is a strong dog that loves to play with his toys, and get all of his zoomies out. If hes left alone at home too long, he gets bored and anxious with all of the pent up energy. He loves when I come home, or when people come to visit. He just needs room to play, and for someone to have the time to share walks and adventures with on a regular basis. My own schedule has filled up over the past few years as Ive gotten further in my career. --- What adjectives would you use to describe your pet? loving, cuddler, playful, vocal, needy
