Capone is a fully vetted, Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. He recently completed treatment for heartworms, and received the "all clear" from the vet. Capone is very friendly with people, and has done well with all dogs we have introduced home to, since joining our rescue, though he has had no exposure to cats. Capone is approximately 3 yrs old, playful, and now healthy! ****Capone is currently in foster care in Dallas/Fort Worth, so transport would need to be arranged**** If interested in adopting Capone, please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org

Story
Bo is a deeply loyal, affectionate dog who bonds strongly with his people. He is a great snuggler, thrives on routine, and is calm and loving in familiar environments. Bo lives peacefully with a 7 lb Chihuahua and does very well with other dogs; he has no dog-directed aggression. Bo has received extensive professional support, including training with a specialist in human-directed aggression using e-collar-based management, as well as consultation with a veterinary behaviorist. With structure and consistency, he does well, but he requires ongoing management. Bo has a documented history of human-directed aggression that is house-based and has bitten two people. Because of this, he is not safe for a home with children and must be placed in an adult-only household with experienced handlers. This rehoming decision is being made proactively due to infant safety concerns, with the goal of finding Bo a safe, appropriate environment where he can thrive.

Story
Ripley is very energetic and loving dog but needs someone who can give her a life of happiness and ways to keep her busy. We were supposed to temporarily keep her while a home was found for her but that unfortunatly never happened. We have an old dog and a middle aged dog 2 cats and 10 year old kiddo with how energeticshe is none of us can keep up. She's not aggressive but she will push right through whoever to get what she wants. My hopes is to find a home that has no other animals or kids or elderly so they can focus all their attention on her without having any hiccups on the way. She does get territorial and will knock someone down to get to who's coming but won't bite just alot of barking and shoving to get to who or whats there.

Story
This dog is a courtesy listing and not one of our dogs. Please contact the email listed in this post. For more information, please contact ADOPTBENNY@gmail.com   BENNY is a 5yr (ish) old, 65lbs Staffordshire Terrier. He’s spayed and up to date on his initial vaccines. He came from a difficult, neglectful situation on the streets so would do well with someone with some experience with big dogs. He enjoys the simple things — long naps after meals, slow walks, a cozy spot to settle in with the occasional funny grumble or dramatic sigh to remind you of his big personality. He’s only been with us for a couple of days and has already grown more affectionate and playful, he’ll clearly continue to open up as he settles into a home. He’s smart - he was on his hind legs turning the doorknob at our vet check room today(!). He can be stubborn on walks; he sometimes PLANTS himself when he doesn’t want to go in a certain direction, so he’ll need loving, kind, patient new owners :). He’s house-trained and adjusting really well to indoor life. He’ll benefit from continued basic training and routine structure, but he learns quickly. We haven’t tested him with other dogs or kids yet so we can’t speak to this. He’s stimulated when he sees dogs on walks but he seems more like he wants to play than attack. After everything he’s been through, Benny deserves a home that sees what a good, steady dog he already is — and will give him the consistency and care to fully exhale and belong.
