Story
Bo is a deeply loyal, affectionate dog who bonds strongly with his people. He is a great snuggler, thrives on routine, and is calm and loving in familiar environments. Bo lives peacefully with a 7 lb Chihuahua and does very well with other dogs; he has no dog-directed aggression. Bo has received extensive professional support, including training with a specialist in human-directed aggression using e-collar-based management, as well as consultation with a veterinary behaviorist. With structure and consistency, he does well, but he requires ongoing management. Bo has a documented history of human-directed aggression that is house-based and has bitten two people. Because of this, he is not safe for a home with children and must be placed in an adult-only household with experienced handlers. This rehoming decision is being made proactively due to infant safety concerns, with the goal of finding Bo a safe, appropriate environment where he can thrive.

Story
🐾 Meet Saber! Hi! I’m Saber, a 1.5-year-old, 60 lb pittie/Staffy mix. I’m a healthy, happy girl who learns fast and loves treats. I already know sit, stay, wait, and “OK, go ahead,” and I’m working on heel and ringing a bell when I need to go outside. I’m also fully potty trained and crate trained. I’m very food-motivated, so a puzzle bowl helps me slow down and keeps my brain busy. Since I’m still young, I sometimes chew things if left unsupervised, but I’m eager to learn what’s okay and what isn’t. I adore my humans and bond quickly, but I can be shy with new people. I’m especially nervous around men — my family thinks I may have had a rough start but with patience and time, I warm up and become very loving. On walks, I do great as long as there aren’t other animals around. I tend to chase cats, and I don’t get along with other dogs in the home, so I’m looking for a place where I can be the only pet. If you’re searching for a sweet, loyal, intelligent dog who’s ready to learn!
