Story
Our girl Faith was left in a kill shelter in KY.  She had rescue but they backed out when they heard she was a little too "interested" in cats.  Faith is ultra submissive and will roll over & give her belly for anyone.  There is not a mean bone in this girl's body - but she does have issues with CERTAIN men. She's about 10 years old & plays appropriately with other dogs big & small and is bunkmates with MJ on our site (who is 1/2 her size).  We would consider her med energy but has much love to give! Because of her fear aggression when it comes to most men, we cannot bring her to adoption events so an appt would need to be made to meet her. Our adoption fee is $325 and all of our pets come with full vet records. All animals are up to date on vaccinations & dewormed. Unless otherwise indicated, puppies are NOT spayed or neutered since our vet recommends waiting until 6mos of age to do so. Please keep in mind we are a Rescue Group and most of our pups come to us with little or no background info regarding breed, eventual size, age or prior health issues. We rely on the expertise of our veterinarians and make estimates based on past experience. Also, when you're adopting from a Rescue, you should ask questions! You should always get shot/medication records and the rescue should have had the dog for a bit of time to check for disease. Take the time to educate yourself before adopting. A reputable rescue will have nothing to hide and will answer ALL your questions!!! Please visit our Web Site to see all of the pets we have for adoption. Our site contains information about our adoption process and fees, our application, and answers to frequently asked questions. Please read it carefully before contacting us. If you are interested in adopting THIS wonderful pet, we strongly encourage you to complete our adoption application now. Once we receive and approve your application, we will notify you of approval. The first application to be received and approved will get 1st choice - be sure that your references are available and willing to speak with us. Thank You Visit us at one of our next events. Hey there! The names Moose, nice to meet you! I love being around people and making new friends, I'm what they call a social butterfly. As much as I love making new friends I'm also what they call a couch potato! So if you're looking for a pup that can be lazy some days and adventurous the next, I am your man! I hear pictures can add 10lbs, in my case they don't do my size justice. I'm a big boy, almost 100 lbs of pure love! Don't let my size scare you, I'm a big baby. If you have room in your heart (and bed) for a fella like me, give my friends a call! The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, PA Kennel License #02941, 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042

Story
Meet Sydney Ranger! Sydney is currently 1 year old, she was born April 20, 2022, and she is 45 pounds. We think Sydney probably has some border collie, as well as pointer and a terrier mix like Staffordshire terrier or pitbull terrier. We definitely know she’s a super mutt! Sydney loves to play and is a master at the chest down hind end up play stance. If you are looking for an active girl to light up your days, look no further! Her personality lights up the room. She is great with children but should be watched around littles as she is just a puppy. She is a good girl in the crate and is doing wonderful with potty and leash training! Interested in becoming a forever home for Sydney? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Sydney. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Sydney the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Meet Coral Sue! Coral is an absolute love bug. She loves all sorts of dogs and kids of all ages. She is only about two or three years old and came to us with a terrible and sad story. She had been found running loose with a pack of dogs and was thought to be heavily pregnant. She was put on the euthanasia list where we were able to get her and bring her into our foster care. She developed a terrible upper respiratory infection, including three different viruses. Sadly, she lost most of her puppies to the diseases. Throughout it all, she’s been a kind and loving dog. Coral should weigh approximately 45 pounds but she’s a bit more now, as her foster has over-indulged her because of all she has been through, and we just can’t blame them! We aren’t sure about her breed mix, we are going to call her a Staffordshire bull terrier, as well as a Dalmatian and possibly coonhound mix! She’s been learning to leash walk and has become quite the couch potato living in her foster home, and she is perfectly house-trained. Interested in becoming a forever home for Coral? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.
