Story
Meet Loki!
Loki is a sweet, playful 10-month-old neutered Toy Poodle, just 6 lbs. He loves people, loves being part of family life, and is always happy to ask for cuddles. He's crate trained, pee pad trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and travels great in the car. He's still learning to walk on a leash, so he needs a patient family who will continue his training and confidence building.
Important: Loki may snap at larger dogs when he's frightened. This is fear-based. He needs adopters who understand body language, respect his boundaries, and use force-free, positive reinforcement training.
Loki's home must have:
• A detached single-family home with a fully fenced yard (non-chain-link preferred)
• No children living in or regularly visiting the home
• No medium or large dogs living in or regularly visiting
• Someone home often (absences not routinely over 8 hours)
• No dayhomes or daycare settings
• No apartments, condos, duplexes, or townhouses (he may vocalize while adjusting)
House training: Like any rescue dog, Loki may have accidents while settling in. Please be patient and consistent.
Training: We only adopt to force-free homes and only approve trainers within our network.
Adoption area: Beaumont, Devon, Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Saint Albert (Morinville case by case). Please don't apply if you live outside these areas.
