Babe is a two year old female Standard Poodle who was surrendered to us because her previous owner was sadly dying. She is a sweet girl and can be shy at times but once she warms up she is a total sweetheart. She is in a foster home with multiple dogs big and small and does great, A slow introduction is needed and then she wants to play with the dogs. She is house train, crate trained although she doesn't need to be crated. Walks nice on a leash and is potty trained. Louie (bonded to Rudy) is a handsome fellow and is 3 1/2 years old. His owner could no longer care for him. He is a Poodle mix who is a little shy upon meeting but very sweet and loving. He did not have a lot of exposure to the outside world but he has impressed us with his confidence and is learning so much and he soaks it up like a sponge. He is about 14 lbs. and excellent to groom. We don't know if he has been around children but probably respectful kids over the age of 8 should be ok. He will be a great family dog when he meets the right family who will help to finish his training and socializing. He is learning the house rules, learning where it is appropriate (or not) to potty but will need some additional reinforcement and or training in that department. (He came in with Rudy as a bonded pair and can only be adopted as a bonded pair). Louie is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Rudy is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Louie and Rudy's adoption fee is $700. This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue!
