Story
Meet Gladys 💞 Gladys is a 2yr old, 48lb Doodle. Gladys is a super sweet girl with a TON on energy. Gladys looooves her people and would like nothing more than to shadow you all day. With that being said, she does not have any separation anxiety. Gladys gets along with all dogs and wants to play, she’s a little intimidating to the smaller dogs cause she doesn’t know her size and energy level. Gladys walks ok on a leash and would benefit from the “Gentle Leader” leash. One thing about Gladys, she is ALWAYS up for the next adventure. Gladys is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date on her rabies vaccine. If you are interested in meeting Gladys, please fill out an application at www.broketailrescue.org, located under the contact tab.

To apply or learn more, go to: https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/219873/2026/2/12/guapo Meet adoptable Guapo! Guapo is a 4-month-old Husky poodle mix puppy who was surrendered to us after an accidental litter. His previous family loved him dearly but lived in a very small apartment and wanted a bigger, brighter future for this special boy. At about 25 lbs, Guapo is already showing how smart and observant he is. He figured out how to climb spiral stairs at a very young age (seriously impressive!) and loves finding cozy high spots where he can nap and watch the world go by. Guapo is a sweet, shy, sensitive soul who takes a little time to warm up—but once he feels safe, his adorable personality starts to shine. He is gentle, calm, and surprisingly quiet (we haven’t even heard him bark yet!). He has lived happily with children, cats, and other animals of all sizes and does wonderfully when he has companionship around him. Because he’s still gaining confidence, Guapo would thrive in a home that can: • Be patient and help him continue building confidence • Spend lots of time with him (he loves having company!) • Provide a stable, loving environment where he can blossom This smart, gentle boy is ready to leave apartment life behind and find a family to grow up with. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving pup who will bond deeply with his people, Guapo may be your perfect match Adoption Donation $550 includes neuter, vaccinations, microchip heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application Interested in adopting? 1. Story
Meet Jet! Jet is a high-energy, fun-loving pup who is always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure. This playful social butterfly thrives on interaction and absolutely loves making new friends — both human and canine! He’s great with other dogs and would be happiest in a home where he can have playmates to romp around with. Jet’s zest for life means he’ll do best in a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs, zoom around, and burn off some of that happy energy. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a backyard play session, or a family hangout, Jet wants to be right in the middle of the fun. He’s family-friendly and would make a wonderful companion for an active household. Jet is especially affection motivated, so he’ll happily work for praise, pets, and quality time with his people. With a little guidance and lots of love, he’ll shine as the loyal, lively best friend you’ve been looking for. If you’re ready for a joyful, outgoing pup who brings energy and heart wherever he goes, Jet is ready to blast off into your life! 🚀

Story
Meet Bear 🐻 Bear is a handsome, medium-energy guy who brings the perfect balance of companionship and independence. He’s leash trained and already knows “sit,” which makes him a wonderful walking buddy and a great foundation for continued training. Bear is food motivated, so he’s eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement — bring the treats and he’ll bring the focus! Bear can be dog selective and prefers slow, thoughtful introductions to new canine friends. He may do best as the only dog in the home or with a compatible match. He also has some resource guarding tendencies, so he’ll thrive with a confident, experienced owner who can provide clear structure and boundaries. Because of this, he’s best suited for a home with dog-savvy teens 13+ who understand how to respectfully interact with him. With the right guidance, Bear is a loyal, smart companion who will bond deeply with his people. If you’re looking for a trainable, devoted dog who will appreciate your leadership and return it with love, Bear might be your perfect match.

Story
Mabel is a Standard Poodle with a gentle heart. Initially shy, she thrives with a patient adopter who approaches calmly and allows her time to adjust to new surroundings. Once comfortable, her affectionate nature shines—she’s motivated by your praise and loves to learn, picking up new cues with impressive speed. She carries herself with a soft, careful mouth, embodying her sweet and sensitive spirit. Mabel would flourish in a peaceful home where she can become the devoted and elegant pup we know she can become. Since Mabel tends to be on the skittish and shy side we think she would do best in an adult only home or a single person house. She would prefer a quiet house that does not have people coming in and out frequently. If you can offer a quiet haven and steady kindness, you'll be rewarded with the deep loyalty and bright mind of this truly special dog. Could your home be the place where this Mabel blossoms?
